I'm wondering the same thing? What the heck is AFF? And yes, unfortunately I believe this is how it is with online dating. I d-loaded skout on my iphone..which is basically for flirting, chatting , dating..etc.. and it is a breeding ground for FWB (which isn't bad for me, since that's all I want right now..lol), but not ideal if one is looking for more. My sister had accts with POF, Match and Eharmony and she has told me so many horror stories that I can't even imagine trying to find a BF this way. I know many of you have indeed found GREAT guys this way, but I don't know if I have the patience for it.... but then again, I might change my tune in a few months.. lol

AFF=Adult Friend Finder. I've never been on it, but from what I understand it's nothing more than a hook-up site.

Out of boredom, one night, I looked at AFF. Honestly, probably 70% of the guys on Match and OkCupid, in my area at least, were on there also. I can't recall any of them looking for anything weird though.

I recommend if you are doing online dating to have a profile on AFF so you can see who the guys are that are on there. I have one and I have had guys that I've been talking to on match and POF email me on there looking for sex. It helps to weed out the perverts. Most of them use the exact same pictures! And some even use the same screen name (but not most)
