I got a new phone - a smartphone this time so I've been busy playing around with it. Haven't tried finding the board on there yet since I do play with my Kindle still at different times.
This past week was a quiet one. Took Pip to the library for story time again on Wednesday. He wore shorts and a t-shirt this time. Wednesday evening after his bath I noticed his lower legs and knees and lower arms and elbows were redder, rashier, than the rest of his body. His cheeks were too. Fortunately, the red, rashiness cleared up overnight but I'm thinking it'll probably be wisest to keep him in long pants and long sleeves when I take him out. Soon will be back to school shopping time so I plan to search for mostly cotton long sleeved shirts, pants, and pajamas. (Cotton per dermatologist recommendation). Planning to hit the consignment/thrift shops with a day of stripping afterwards first. Also accepting recommendations for places to find reasonably priced good quality new cotton clothes for kids.
Come out an play - what happened this week, what's coming up, what made you laugh or cry or just give a sigh of contentment

Been busy here with my parents in town. This time I decided to be proactive and give them jobs to do and it seems to have gone more smoothly than in the past.
It's been another weird week but with things tipping in my favor. First the free tire replacement ... then on Wednesday my massage therapist forgot my appointment and wasn't ready for me, and his wife had taken the table with her for the day. So we rescheduled to today, and he wouldn't let me pay for the treatment. Even though it tried to write him a check.
Summer is in full swing here and the weather is lovely. I'm really liking my part-time work schedule. I know it's not sustainable in the long-term, but I'm really glad that I have this right now.
Went downstairs this morning to check on laaundry only to realize that the toilet upstairs was leaking but instead of creating a puddle upstairs the water was running down to the basement. Hoping and praying that removing the tank inards and reseating them fixed the problem.
Tomorrow's the last night of our church's 5 night Vacation Bible School. It's my first time doing a night VBS so the kids seem extra squirrely, but it could also just be being around school age kids vs 2.5 year old L. Or being 7 months KU during the summer LOL. L goes to the childcare while I'm a classroom assistant. She is obsessed with a cardboard robot that is part of the decorations which makes me laugh bc that robot has won out over having a Daddy or Grandma night.
