Hi ladies! It seems like Saturday is just flying by. Slow down!

Near my job there is a bathing suit distribution warehouse and twice a summer they have a tent sale. I wanted to buy a new bathing suit for our cruise in a few months. I decided to do something crazy and bought a Kate Spade and another brand 2 piece suits in a size smaller then I am now as a goal to wear them on the cruise in a little over 3 months. Plus the tops were only $15 and the bottoms were $10. I bought 2 swim shorts for H too.

I've lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm hoping to lose 25 more before November as a short term goal. Then another 30 after that.

We went to the park and did errands this morning and will go to the ILs later. Normal stuff but DH is just super stressed today.

I am going to the Jimmy Buffett concert at Wrigley Field tonight. Normally I'd be really excited, but driving there, finding parking (there is hardly any and it's $$$), dealing with the crowds while being unable to drink margaritas, etc., just sounds blah. I wish I could just put on his Pandora station and float in my pool! I'm so boring.

In the meantime, the house is a wreck, we have no groceries, and I just want to take a nap.

We are on our annual family vacation. I have consumed a lot of adult beverages this weekend and am loving relaxing and having minimal responsibilities and schedules. I have also realized being on vacation with my SIL and her 3 kids that we may be 1 and done.

I ran the Dirty Dash today with an old friend I haven't seen in at least five years. It was SO MUCH FUN. I don't think I even realized how much I've missed her until we got together and started catching up. We were really close in high school, and she was a huge part of my life during some of my darkest times. I'm so, so glad we've reconnected.

L and I drove to the mountains and spread my moms ashes. It was so refreshing to be with my family today and it honestly could not have gone any better or at a more perfect location. I feel really good about how we carried out her wishes- she is very proud of all of us today. Afterwards we drove to a more developed mountain town and had breakfast at a place my mom loved and went to. L did amazing...way better than I ever thought he would, mainly with his car naps. He was happy and such a joy to be around and it was great to spend some quality time with just him while C and DH had a day to themselves.

Home now and the boys are in bed. I am drinking my favorite beer leftover from my bday.

I am probably drunk. Never really been past tipsy but this actually feels like driving a car would be a terrible idea, spppp.... I onlt had two moscow mules, too. Lightweight? lol.

We rode in a convertible to byuy ice cream and I'm not sure why, but my sister in law ordering ice cream with sprinkles gave me so many giggles. Like just couldn't stop. (FYI, the driver had not drank anything.)

Yeah, so, screw my in laws. They may suck but at least they created my husband who doesn't. #rambling FTW

H is off today! We recruited our fire house children and another guy from the firehouse last night to help light the show. They had so much fun! Plus H got to hang out with the guys while working.

We are going to the winery this afternoon. A few friends are going too. I am making a picnic lunch and hope H can just kick back and relax.

We went to the ILs last night. MIL made dinner for us and sent home half a lasagna! Such a sweet surprise. Yay leftovers.

DH has been on a cleaning frenzy today so I'm just trying to keep up with him. We have been getting some deep cleaning done and have a ton of toys gathered to sort through.

my mom came in Thursday night, and left early this morning, so it's been SO NICE having a few days with her! we ran errands Friday. E's birthday party was yesterday so that was fun (we kept it low-key--a pool party with easy apps, pizza, cake and ice cream), and his birthday is today!!! he's 2 now, crazy!!!! today was church and lunch, and he just got up from nap.

DH is solo parenting right now as I'm cramming for a test tomorrow (see busy weekend above). gotta get back to it, ttyl!!!!

estrellita - when we went out of town to meet friends a few weeks ago both my friend and I forgot to pack swim diapers. So being that two families forgot to pack that, that would be my contribution to your list.

Thank you! I have them somewhere I'd "remember" them but don't think they're actually on my list, lol. I'm not sure if we'll get to the pool but I want to!
