Popping over here from MMM hoping those of you with more style knowledge than me can direct me in the right way. I'm going to be 3 weeks post-partum with baby #2 and I'm hoping you all might have some ideas on where to find a dress that can hide my assumed fluff.
I'm looking for a long, gold, chiffon or satin dress likely with an empire waist to hide the baby fluff. Something with straps would be ideal. Any ideas where to look?

I know David's bridal is not the greatest, but I was in a wedding 5 weeks postpartum and found a forgiving dress for around $100...let me see if I can find the link

At 3 weeks out, your breast are going to be much larger than you expect. I'd look VERY hard for a dress with stretch because it's your boobs more than your belly that will potentially make it not fit on that day. Depending on your feeding plans, you may want to find a dress you can easily pull down to nurse or pump but even if you are planning to formula feed, those boobs are going to be there I think.

Yes I mean last time my boobs were GIANT until I stopped breastfeeding. Easy to forget that part! Good point about stretch too !

I agree with PP. Try to avoid a dress you will need to zip into. It will be hard to gauge the exact size and you don't want to be stressing with a 3w newborn. I once tried on a stretchy bridesmaid dress from Amsale. Not sure if they are still making dresses, but it's worth a shot.
I think that the color is going to be the hardest to find - what shade of gold are you trying to match?
It's a true "gold" more yellow than brown or pink. Does that make sense? Good news is I'm the MOH so worst case scenario I think she's even ok with me wearing navy (one of her accent colors)

in that case, navy would be much easier to find! Ditto the others that recommended something with stretch.
