1. How did last week go? I thought last week went well until I made the mistake of weighing myself
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? Get my running mileage in plus three strength training workouts
3. What are your food goals for the week? Drink more water and start tracking on my fitness pal again
4. Any non-scale victories? I had a really good run on Saturday. I have been working on decreasing my mile spilt times and was able to keep below my target pace the entire time

1. How did last week go? I'm working on the diet. Still. Like always. Got in fewer workout than planned, but mostly because our water heater is broken and factoring the logistics of showering is a PITA. Plus, we were potty training this weekend, so I felt bad making 2 trips to the gym. Only went once on the weekend and twice during the week.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? This week, I want 3 gym workouts and 3 days doing Shred
3. What are your food goals for the week? Stick to the meal plan. Today is a cheat since we have a luncheon at work. And then pizza or dinner.
4. Any non-scale victories? Finally busted out the Shred DVD yesterday. There is NO reason I can't do it a few times this week either before or after work. I need to buy free weights though. I only have 12s and 20s, and those will end up killing me.
1. How did last week go? Workouts went as planned plus had a great long run on Sunday.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? CF 3x, lift 2x, maybe run 1x
3. What are your food goals for the week? Stick to my plan.
4. Any non-scale victories? I ran 9 miles on Sunday which surprised me since I didn't know I still had that type of endurance. That made me decide to for sure sign up for a half I have been eyeing later this year.
Rough start but then I went to the gym a couple times and ran twice. My shins seem ok.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? 3 runs and 2-3 times lifting.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Cut down on drinks and if I do have any, stick to spiked seltzers or Omission.
4. Any non-scale victories?
I made 2 decisions. 1) Stop using a scale. 2) In order to focus on my other goals, (strengthen hips to reduce shin splints, shift focus from calorie counting to to weight lifting, increase my running mileage) I'm going to cut my CX works class. I just need to make the most of my time at the gym. Another fitness/life victory is we made a decision about DS and fencing. We are going to finish up his lessons at Parks and Rec and then commit joining a fencing club about 30 minutes away. At first I cringed at the idea of adding something like that to my life, but they have workout equipment and parents are welcome to use it while the kids have their lesson. SOLD.

I want to hear your progress on the Shred! Keep us posted!
1. We were on vacation last week, and we were pretty active considering it was a beach vacation. I only had one day that I didn't get a workout in and get in at least 10k steps, because it rained all day and DH had to leave to drive to an apple store after smashing his phone. Diet was OK - tried to eat salads if we weren't eating out and splurging. There was a lot of ice cream involved. I did not gain any weight, which was the goal.
2. This week I'm trying to work out every day. So far, I've gotten in 3 good cardio workouts.
3. Just keep things under control, and drink more water. This is really my first week as a SAHM, and I tend to eat when I'm not crazy busy. So far, so good.
4.I bought 3 new dresses last weekend, all size 6. For the past year, I'd been in 8's and 10's. The scale hasn't moved much for the past few months, but my body feels stronger.
Last week we started a low carb diet. We stuck with it until Thursday. Friday turned into a cheat day and Saturday was really busy but on Sunday we were back to it.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? I would like to use the bowflex in our basement at least 3 times this week.
3. What are your food goals for the week?
Get back on track with the low carb meals. Monday night we went to see my grandparents for my grandfather's birthday so we ate out instead of sticking with our dinner plan.
4. Any non-scale victories? I was able to hold a plank for longer then I expected.
campermom, spiked seltzers are my weakness. Are you sticking to that brand, or have you tried others? The Smirnoff kind is pretty good, but I feel like there's got to be a bunch of unnatural crap in them since there's no sugar and they taste so good. I also like Truly - v. low in sugar.

You see, the tricky thing with Truly... is that it is SO drinkable. Yum.

That the only brand I've had. I heard there are a few out there. But compared to beer and omgosh Not Your Fathers Root Beer its practically nutritious.

Yes- it goes down like WATER! Especially on a hot camping trip after the pool and the baby is down for a nap.
