Leo used to get upset often if people would use idioms. ("That's weird!! That doesn't make any sense!!") That's one of the things his SLP has been working with him on and now he enjoys spotting them and even explaining them to his brother.

DS had ESY this summer and the IEP team had 5 goals. 3 of the 5 he mastered were based on attention span and he only mastered it because I took him in to get medicine intervention. His reading goal was only sufficient progress and his math was insufficient.

Pip is starting to talk. Mostly approximations of words but that's a start and when he's communicating it's starting to have a conversational speak, listen, respond pattern. He's even asking for things without prompting. I will miss being Mmbaba even while celebrating when he gets Mama out correctly and consistently.
