What do you tend to wear over and over? What makes you feel put together? I struggle with this. I'm pretty basic, jeans, tshirt, flip flops or tennis shoes. Not classy or trendy. I wouldn't mind upping my game a bit. So what's on your list for fall?
Leggings (as pants) or jeggings, cute longish tops, and ballet flats or boots. That's pretty much my weekend wear for the fall/winter. I personally don't feel put together if I'm wearing flip flops or tennis shoes, so I pretty much always wear shoes that are a bit..."dressier", while still being comfy.
Following. I have a nice work wardrobe (that I no longer wear since I SAH) and super casual clothes that I feel sloppy in. I really need something in-between so I can feel more put together.
During the summer I wear a lot of sundresses and shorts/tee shirts. During the winter ("winter") it's jeans and tee shirts. I've discovered I'm not trendy at all and prefer solid colors over most prints. I dress it up with jewelry and accessories.
ETA: taking time to do my hair and put on makeup helps, too. The same outfit can feel so different with just a few changes.
I wear dresses almost every day. I don't really need a bunch of stuff this year. I have good boots, enough leggings, and enough dresses. I have a solid pair of tan trousers and a few work shirts as well.

I need jewelry more than anything.
My must haves are boots for dresses.
My sil sells premier and I love the stuff Ive purchased and can hook you up...the fall collection is gorgeous.

I really like this look but don't feel like it looks right on me. I need some ideas too. On my sgopping list is a pair of shoe boots and some cute clogs. I really think shoes make a huge difference. Following for ideas.

I think those are a little pricey for what you get, aren't they?
I SAH so mostly it's jeans or leggings. I try to find tops that are a little different so I do often get them at boutiques or online shops. I prefer quality over quantity so I spend on tops I know I'll love and are made with good materials. I also like the lululemon pants that have the side pockets because I can slip my phone, credit card and keys easily and they are comfortable. I've been wearing flip flops a lot because of summer but in the fall I'll be back in my slip on sneakers (my favorites are Jslides, Super ga's, and Uggs). The last few pounds of pregnancy weight (stopped nursing last month) are finally going. I've been celebrating by buying lots of clothes. I've found lots of great tops from Aritzia and Nordstroms lately. I have little in the date night department so making an effort to get more of that because this fall I've promised myself to make my physical appearance and DH more or a priority.

My style is kind of bohemian tinged SAHM casual. I got a pair of short Frye boots last year (for $25!!!) and I adore them. I wear them almost every day fall and winter.
This year I really want a sweater knit or boiled wool wrap/poncho in black. Is that remotely trendy? Doubtful. But I saw a chic older lady in one and I want it as my fall jacket.
I wear jeans or colored pants when it's colder. I don't do leggings.
