Who sells the best price, most durable boy sneaker like shoes? I like the look of more casual sneakers like See Kai Run, but I really don't want to spend SKR prices because his feet are still growing fast. He destroyed his Carters sneakers in a few weeks, loved the price but not the longevity. This is the kind of style of shoe I'm looking for www.seekairun.com/store/boys/toddlers----/russell
I wish I knew. Ezra's breadloaf feet are so hard to get in shoes. I managed to get him in size 10 converse looking ones with the laces super loose. Lol
We like nike frees. They are expensive but most have lasted through 2 kids and passed on (not in good enough shape to resell after both my kids but as extras) They are great for fat feet too
I don't go here and I have a girl, but I've been pretty impressed by Clarks shoes. Right now they have an extra 20% off sale shoes which makes the prices reasonable. Sale code is July17
These styles are similar to the SKR shoes you posted:
We've had really good luck with New Balance. They last 3-4 months for Benjamin with constant wear. He had a pair of SKR that lasted about the same length. Everything else we've tried only lasts 2-4 weeks before they're destroyed. Conversely, E had a pair of New Balance that lasted 6 months (because his feet didn't grow), and looked almost new when he grew out of them.
Got H a pair of Converse at Marshalls tonight to try and going to go to the Nike outlet sometime to see what they have! I checked out New Balance outlet, but they had like 50 cute girl shoes and 3 all black boy shoes lol.

Have you tried New Balance or Stride Rite? I think they both have extra wide, I know our New Balance outlet had some extra wide pairs.

Target carries Surprize by Stride Rite. They come in regular and wide. They are about half the price of the Saucony's (W needs wide) I was ordering. They are generally good for about 4 months of daily wear.

Yup - Blake had beef feet too and the only thing I could get him in was XW stride rite shoes.
I just now realized that SKR stood for See Kai Run... I always thought it was short for Sketchers!
I've had good luck with New Balance as well. We have a family run shoe store here that also owns New Balance stores and I've had luck with finding W's shoes on their clearance shelf. The last pair I got for $15! I did also get a pair on Prime Day for like $22. You could also try Joe's New Balance Outlet (online store)

The one pair of SKR I bought years ago fell apart so fast. We have had great luck with Saucony. Our Stride Rite store closed so we don't have that option anymore. A needed all black sneakers for school this year so we got him Vans. It was kind of strange buying him shoes that weren't from a kid's store, we got them at Journeys.
Ari started wearing Sauconys at around 3. Before that is was stride rite for wide feet. Now he wears some random cheap brand from amazon that has held up really well.
