Well, apparently they didn't work out because I was just contacted by the company's senior director telling me that they have an opening with their company in a few weeks and was wondering if I'd be able to discuss the position with them.
Omg.
I don't know what to think and am all over the place.
Unless I found childcare for the kids 3 days a week, which I wouldn't even know where to start. I would need it to be in home, and someone who can handle 4 young children, 2 that have special needs. (Jane being a lot more significant than Rose).
congrats! Definitely talk to them and see if you can negotiate it to not be full time if that helps your childcare situation. Is your h willing to leave his job?
As far as childcare coverage goes, is there a college local to you? College students majoring in special ed or nursing sometimes look for jobs that can give them experience in those fields. Their schedules are a bit flexible. Also see if you can post on a hospital site, or ask someone you know who works at one to post on their board. I know a lot of young nurses who work on their days off to pay off student loans and middle aged nurses who work other jobs to pay their children's college tuition.
