Anyone ever use rent the runway?

My SIL's wedding is coming up mid August, and everyone in my family except me is in the wedding. I am stumped on what to wear. I'm considering rent the runway, but am nervous about it since I can't try it on before. Anyone ever use it? Like it? Any issues with dress fit?

Yes I highly recommend!!! I had the dresses shipped to my hotel for Miami and it was so easy and nice. They let you pick a backup size. I also added a second dress as a back up for maybe $30 I think?? And I loved that one too and ended up wearing it the second night.

I recently got a free dress rental for my birthday so I did that just for fun and really liked that dress too! I'll def use RTR again and again esp for these school gala type events I will have this year.

I don't know where your wedding is, but when I ordered in NYC it said I could call them before 3pm that day if the dress didn't fit and they could send a replacement same day. Not sure if that's the case everywhere but I thought that was awesome. There is a RTR physical store in New York though so maybe that's why.

Ok - you've basically talked me into it! I was going to do the 4 day rental so I'd get it on thurs and know in plenty of time before the wedding on Saturday. And the first rental is 20% off. Thanks for the info!! Now to pick a dress...

I have! I have used it twice, for H's 20th HS reunion, that was formal, and for my brother's wedding in March. I loved both dresses. For brother's wedding I had bought a dress at Nordstrom as a backup and returned it when the RTR dress worked out.

Did you do any floor length formal stuff? Like how does that work for us shorties? I'm 4'10" and need a formal dress for the end of August. Ack!

I don't know the answer to that and was wondering this myself! I'm def going to need some formal gowns but floor length will neverrrrr be the right length for me. I'll let you know if I figure it out!
