Last week was hectic, then my not-horribly-old tablet (maybe a year old or so, I don't know) started acting weird making it even harder to hop on here. So apologies for missing last week's check-in.
What did you do these past two weeks?
Any plans for this week?
Challenge: Spend some time on a hobby or other activity of enjoyment.
Clearly not a lot of me time last week, but before that I caught up with an old friend. I also did some sewing.
This week, I plan to do some more sewing and maybe work on building a cabinet if I get enough time that lines up with decent weather. My family and a friend's family are going to get together for supper one night as well.

Two weeks ago: I think I exercised on the treadmill twice. I did get my diet back on track. I could not finish all the s'mores myself and DS was so done with them. So I took the left overs to share at work where all the work studies ate the majority.
Last week: I managed to exercise three times on the treadmill.
Diet continues. I got rid of a packet of chocolate pudding at a work pot luck. I originally bought them for DS in case he had issues with swallowing his ADHD meds and DS had not touched the chocolate pudding when I offered it to him.
On Friday, I had to go to the doctor's office and I weigh what I am suppose to weigh according to BMI. I was only there to get more of my high blood pressure meds because the prescription ran out. The Nurse Practioner was pretty much in disbelief that I actually have high blood pressure and he was in more disbelief that I did not have it while I was pregnant with DS. I got it a couple of years after having DS and it can't be helped because it is genetic.
I have been getting into Parks and Recreation on Netflix and I like it so far. DH suggested it awhile back for me to watch it because he knew I would like it. I have also watched bits of Ghost Busters and My Little Pony with DS.
I don't know what I will do hobby related. I do have plans to go back to school shopping for DS this upcoming weekend.

Past 2 weeks: Week one, DS was with his dad, so I did a lot of resting and projects around the house and garden. Just trying to improve the state of things here, which has been pretty chaotic. I did manage to catch up with a friend on the weekend, but otherwise I have needed to conserve my energy. Week 2, I feel like I've just been doing more of the same. Chipping away at piles of clutter, getting up to date on paperwork. Just been very busy. I took a break on meal prep and we ordered in a few times. It's been too hot, and I've been too tired. This past weekend we were supposed to go camping but I had some pretty bad floaters and flashes of light in my eye and didn't feel comfortable making the drive, so we camped in the backyard instead. It was nice to spend the weekend just playing in our garden, and it got DS to spend more time outside with me (he usually just does his own thing when I do garden stuff).
This week: I want to get back to making better food choices. I've been lazy lately and eating a lot of the wrong snacks.
Hobby challenge: Still chipping away at the ivy in my garden. Also would like to make a bit of progress on the teepee that I started for DS last winter.
I worked out 4x, and planned a somewhat last-minute 2-day getaway for DH and me to celebrate our anniversary. (So glad a friend was willing to keep the boys!)
This week: I really need to plan some more friend time, and keep up with workouts.
