Speaking of Harry Potter, it was our 11th wedding anniversary this weekend and my friend said, "Your marriage would be receiving its Hogwarts letter this year!" I feel old.
Pretty uneventful week for me, but hoping my H's job goes well. We have a family party this weekend, but no other plans. My secret plan is to slack at work after a busy Monday and Tuesday, and get lots of volunteer and coursework done this week.

Not a whole lot going on this week. Just a doctor's appointment today and getting used to my new desk at work!
Random - I took my belly button ring out on Fri and don't think I'm going to put it back in. I feel oddly sad about it, lol. But really, why am I keeping it in??
I got a + OPK on Friday morning, but my temp still hasn't spiked. So, either I'm not actually going to ovulate this cycle or this is just going to be another really long one (today is CD24). What is the point of using OPKs if a + doesn't mean anything?? Ugh.
krystee- happy belated anniversary! Hope you get caught up on all your projects/obligations this week!
Slow week here. Final inspection this afternoon and play date on Thursday is all that I have planned. I need to catch up on chores, do some work for my dad, start planning L's bday party, and of course lots of walking and time at the park when we can! I am sure we will see our neighbors in the afternoons quite a bit as well!
I have been loosing weight recently. I've been working on eating better and just getting up and being more active. I need to full on exercise for my own health (physical and mental) but I'm feeling better little by little. 2 pounds away from my pre-pg weight with C and 12 lbs from pre-pg weight with G! Woot!
I just got home from laundry and errands. It was a bad idea stopping at TJMaxx. I did get a curling wand and a few small items I need, and a lot of stuff I didn't lol.
Tuesday I'm bringing lunch over to my bff's and we are going to hang out for awhile.
Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The weekend is up in the air as what we are doing.
Off to a good start this week. Both kids are napping after a fun morning at the park and I am poolside. I should be making dinner or vacuuming or something productive but it's too nice out.
Tomorrow we are having friends over to go swimming. I'm a little nervous because there'll be 3 newborns and 3 two year olds to wrangle but I'm just going to line up my baby containment devices and hope for the best.
The rest of the week is up in the air. I'm sure there'll be more time at the park and I'll need to start thinking about back to school shopping. I didn't buy myself any clothes last year (besides maternity) and my work wardrobe is sad.

Sorry katespade, that's a huge reason I only temped. I had a hard time determining if the OPKs were + or not so I figured temping was better. I luckily had fairly consistent cycles though so after a few I had a good idea of when I'd O. Hope you get your BFP very soon!
katespade I never used the OPKs because it made me obsess too much over minute, inconclusive data. I think for some people they're really useful, and others they aren't. Best of luck though! Have you gotten any good charts yet on your previous cycles?
bk1 awesome job eating healthy and on the weight loss!
wineandcheese I can't go into TJMaxx or HomeGoods without spending too much money on lovely things I don't need.
ewall that's amazing! I wish we heard more stories like that.
This week will be good but busy. Tons to do before vacation. My goal is to stay out and about as much as possible so the house stays clean, then I can spend each evening sewing/packing without having a disaster around me.
DS and I both have appointments on Wednesday. He goes to the dentist in the morning and I have an OB appointment in the afternoon.
I have a long list of everything we need to get done, which is long and overwhelming. To help, I've decided to make a weekly list to keep it more manageable, and I already feel better about it.
amaranth - I'm only on my second cycle, but the last one was pretty good as far as temps go. I saw a clear temp spike when I ovulated (8 days after my + OPK. lol) and AF started 15 DPO, so I feel like my body did was it was supposed to do even if it didn't work. It ended up being a 43 day cycle, though, and it looks like this one is going to be at least that long, too.

If you get another cycle or two with similar ovulation days I'd honestly skip the OPKs and just go based on day 25 or whatever your chart says. That's what I did and it seemed to work fine and was honestly less stressful, but I did have several charts done before I relied on the information.

Yeah, I feel like I'm going to give up on the OPKs now that it's happened twice. It's not like we've been changing our behaviors based on the OPK results anyway, so it would be a lot easier to only worry about temping.

Boo, my doctor got called for an emergency so my appointment got rescheduled for Fri. I totally understand, but it's a slight annoyance to try rearranging my schedule again!
Blue Moon, when do you go back to school? I have curriculum meetings M,T,W next week, institutes the following M,T, and kids start the 16th. So not ready!
A and I took an impromptu trip to go visit MIL today. My ulterior motive was I needed to go dress shopping for BIL's wedding and there is a bridal shop there with sample dresses for $40. Plus, there's no way for me to try stuff on with A without someone else. Only downside was it was 2.5 hours there and then 3 coming back. I'm so tired now!

We go back September 1!
I ended up ordering a bunch of dresses from Amazon for my BIL's wedding because I couldn't figure out how to try anything on shopping with my kids, lol.
@@@ Pretty sure I'm bleeding through a stitch from my 2nd degree tear. My docs office isn't taking me seriously though. I'm giving it a little more time and will be begging them to see me if it still hasn't improved later his week.
My Dad left today so it's just Mom and I with the kids until DH gets back from his internship Thursday. You'd think two days isn't a big deal....but we are oil and water. She disagrees with my parenting style and is super controlling. I literally asked someone for my church to pray for me today...seriously.
suzv, we just painted kitchen cabinets and trim a week and a half ago. most of the doors went on yesterday. DH and I need to put our stuff back in (our contractor gave us the okay) but we've been dragging our feet. I think he's going to paint the wall above the chair rail today! I also need to go get new pulls for the doors and drawers.

Yeah, I'm supporting an SEC team..:just not mine with it..ha!!! I DO have A houndstooth decal in the back though )
@@@ Thank you. I think they think I'm confusing post labor bleeding with bleeding through the stitch. I know for sure it's coming through a stitch.
