Had my first cervix check today and I'm 1cm dialated and 30%effaced so we have some progress. Midwife doesn't see him coming in the next week though and I'll see her again next Thursday

Finally had a baby! Evan Thomas came last night after a surprise c-section due to failure to progress in the hospital for twenty four hours. We're all happy and healthy and in love!

Yay @daylily !! Curious what test you did to find out the sex early? I can't seem to remember any of that from last time?

swiftlyirun, I did IVF with PGS. Our genetic biopsy of the embryo when we froze it in January gave us the info on sex, but we only opted to ask for it once we saw a heartbeat.

S has been on 100% formula for 5 days now! I need to work on getting my milk to stop. Any suggestions? I am already down to 3 pumps a day instead of 5.

starryfish, I did two days of 2x daily pumping, and by the second day only had milk during one of the two pumps. The next day I was planning on only doing 1 pump, but nothing came out, so I tearfully put away the pump. It was fine after that, I think one day a few days later I hand expressed a teeny bit to relieve some minor discomfort?
My sister EFF from the start and she did cabbage in the bra and sudafed.

@daylily, yay for girls! My husband became 100x more smitten the day she arrived! He was all concerned during pregnancy that he wouldn't be a good girl dad, but it was all worry for nothing
