Frivolous makeup spending

I mean, it can be argued that its all frivolous lol, but I've had a rough month and want to spend some money. What makeup/skincare items are you eyeing or loving that you would consider frivolous?

To me, color makeup is frivolous, so eyeshadows, blushes, lip colors. I just purchased YSL carmin session lip stain which is so so pretty. And my last eyeshadow palette purchase was the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself palette and it's got beautiful shimmers

To me, frivolous spending is buying the luxury product when the drugstore or cheaper dupe is just as good. Good example: Tatcha cleansing oil- my cheap $5 a bottle cleansing oil is just as good at removing sunscreen and makesup, but the packaging is so elegant on the Tatcha product and makes me feel so luxurious while using it.

I would love to buy more Dior Addict lipsticks, but it's $35 a tube and I have enough lipstick. I would also love to buy the Foreo Light Pen from Sephora.

I'd probably get another eye shadow palette because I can't help myself. Naked Heat or maybe the new Too Faced White Chocolate Bar (not sure if that one is out yet)

If I wanted to treat myself big, I 'd probably get one of the spendy asian beauty serums that I've fallen in love with in sample form in full size.

I still really want the Marc Jacobs bronzer brush. I'm just waiting for the November sale. I also really want to splurge on some Charlotte Tilbury stuff like the bronzer/highlight compact or that whole face travel palette.

There have been rumors circulating online for a while that counterfeit makeup sometimes makes its way into Costco's supply chain. So I'd be careful.

Costco certainly operators in the grey supply chain (reselling stuff bought internationally for ex) but I didn't see articles/info on Costco doing counterfeits. Amazon and other online retailers, absolutely.

I'd go for: Becca blushes and highlighters, alllllll the lipsticks (the Bite liquid lipsticks look awesome), build-your-own quad/palette from Anastasia or MAC, and fancy smelling masks (I recommend Fresh Rose and Farmacy honey potion).

Right now, anything by Tom Ford. Everything is soooooooo pretty and sooooooooo spendy.

I'm such a sucker for fancy as fuck packaging.

I ended up getting the Jouer skinny dip eyeshadow palette. I still want to get Naked Heat, but I may wait on that, and I want to try the new Bite liquid lipsticks

I just bought Too Faced Sweet Peach. Definitely behind... I'd been eyeing for months. I finally decided to just go for it. Can't wait to start playing with it!
