We've had a rubber ducky theme since my oldest was a baby (he's now almost 13). So ignore those pics, they are coming down soon. We recently did a bunch of switching around of bedrooms and now my two boys are across the house sharing a room, which makes this "guest" bathroom mostly my daughter's bathroom while the boys share the pool bathroom on the other side of the house (we have a 3 way split floor plan).
She is about to turn 7. She picked this shower curtain out and loves it! But she's not huge on pink/purple so I don't think she'd want the walls purple. The bath towels and the bath mat can still be returned - I just put them down/out for the picture so if you think different colors there would be better, please let me know.
But my question is: What would you paint the walls?? I was leaning towards a blue, but I wondered if that might look too washed out? I was also considered a gray, since the castle and parts of the clouds are gray. The only color that is a NO is orange (not a fan). So if you have any advice other than orange, I'd love to hear it! Or even if you think orange, that's ok too.... just now what I'd be going for. Thanks!
I think it would go well since you have blue towels and the shower curtain has a lot of blue. We had Behr Cornerstone in the kids bath in our old house and it was the perfect shade.
This, although I would probably keep the light blue in the blue-gray rather than pastel blue range, because pastel colors make me uncomfortable. Maybe a lavender-ish gray could work.
I'm always surprised how many people recommend yellow for bathrooms, since it is such an unflattering color for a room where someone may be putting on makeup some day.
