I have no real TWERKs. Still helping my brother job hunt, still enjoying my part time schedule, Monday I am supposed to have my IUD removed but I may chicken out. Oh! I have 11 free 7-11 slurpees. Highlight of the summer.
I am currently sitting on my patio watching my dog run around "my" yard. So far the invisible fence thing is working perfectly. Rosie goes within 3 feet of the wire and stops as if there were a physical fence. However no one has walked their dog on the trail while we've been outside. That is a trial I worry about.

frozenpeas, I just had my physical for new life insurance. I really stressed about it since I'm about 10 pounds overweight according to BMI and don't always eat healthy. I ended up getting the highest score. So try not to stress.
And in case I was feeling guilty about leaving our daycare...
DS1 unprompted announced that today "we went in the van to Old McDonalds. I didn't go on the slide". When I asked, he said they had fries and chicken.
They had a picnic at the park scheduled for today. It rained, so I guess they decided to take the kids to McDonalds and let them play in the play place.
Oh! DS starts preschool on Monday. If anyone remembers the chaos that was tee ball season, go ahead and laugh with me that 2 teammates are in his class. There's also a little girl whose mom I went to HS with and then a set of wild and hilarious twins. The teacher is the director so she either drew the short straw this year or she's best qualified to handle this crazy bunch lol.
I think that's how people describe my family when I'm not around... LOL
I don't really have any exciting updates. DD is starting her new school a week from Monday. I know it will eventually be good but I'm dreading the transition and its slightly less convenient than where she goes now.
DH GOT A JOB!!!! Start date is Aug 14, which puts him at only about a month out of work. Phew. I'm so relieved we don't have 5-6 months of unemployment and depression to deal with this time.
We're going to Cape Cod this weekend for a short trip (Sat-Tues). YAY.
Still not pregnant. People have started asking me what happened to that idea of a second kid (close friends only as we didn't tell hardly anyone that we were TFAS). I'm now saying "I don't think it's going to happen" and am working on pointing my brain to acceptance of that. We don't want to try much longer because (a) old and (b) ever widening age gap with DD.

saraml13 I walked in to pick up my boys on a beautiful day to find the older one's class (he is just 5) watching one of the Despicable Me movies. This is at least the second time this has happened this summer - instead of taking them outside they plop the in front of the tv. And is that movie appropriate for that age? I've never seen it, just know it is rated PG. So happy we are changing schools. Good luck with your school transition.

Oh, I hear you. Every Wednesday during the summer is supposed to be outside water play day, and they ask us to send towels, water shoes, etc. I think they've only actually played in the water twice this whole summer. A few Wednesdays have been rain outs, but other weeks it just seems like they didn't get around to it.
I really love the teachers as individuals, but the whole place is poorly managed. I feel like it's gone downhill fast. I'm sure the new place will be an adjustment, but I'm counting down the days left.

I wish I could like this 100x. So happy for you.
I'm sorry that you aren't having any luck with pregnancy. Hugs.
shakinros - yay for the job and the getaway weekend!
How much would the age difference be? I was worried about mine but they are pals. It's crazy.
DD is about to turn 5 and I'm not pregnant yet, so coming up on 6yrs. How far about is your DS with the girls? They're only a couple years apart, right?
They are 4.5 years and almost 8 years apart. The oldest and DS are closest. They are seriously buddies. I dread DD going to college in 5 years because he is going to lose his BFF. DS and middle DD legit play together - games, swords, dress up, sports.
It always surprises me when I come down and they (for example) have made a fire out of paper towel rolls and construction paper and brought the tent inside and set it up and are all doing it together. They all read together in my bed on Monday nights. I wouldn't trade the spacing!!

shakinros, it's not my business (and I shouldn't even have an opinion considering how wishy-washy I am about trying for a 3rd) but age differences, your age are factors, sure, but not the be-all, end-all. Follow your heart.
