Have you seen it? I was hesitant but a friend convinced me to see it by saying we need to support black films. We just left and I'm still processing. I honestly don't know if I would encourage others to watch it because it's so heart wrenching but I do believe people need to know the story.

I want to see it. I just rarely make it to the movies 😞 I did read an article about the true events and man, there have been so many atrocities done to blacks. Even feeling like I am in the loop, I keep Learning about other ones.

I knew nothing about the Detroit riots until they started promoting this movie. I want to learn more but I have to do it in bits and pieces to keep my sanity.

Yeah, they're is only so much that my heart can take. It's tough.
