he's dead on!  A bite lippie and an OG BB is $46 before tax and shipping.   LIke...he knows his shit.  He pays ATTENTION.  Or he buys his own damn makeup. 

Also the footlocker was a perfect analogy.  Can you even imagine? handing some guy into sneakers $50 and telling him to treat himself to something nice at the footlocker.  LOL. 

$50 at starbucks though - that's nice. that's several weeks of "man, i could go for something sweet and caffinated.  Oh, shit, I still have that GC.  hell yes!  mama's getting her some caramel no whip etc etc etc."  And then you drink your coffee dessert beverage and your heart fills with feelings of love for that man.  That's a smart ass "splurge" gift for $50.  In fact I just got myself one of those with my CC points a few weeks ago and it's making me a very happy girl.  I have only myself to thank on that one though - MH gets no benefit.

This reminds me of the guy I overheard in Sephora back around Christmas who was just FLABBERGASTED at how much makeup cost. He had a gift list from his GF/Wife, his niece and his mom. He walked in thinking he could knock all the gifts out for $20-30 tops, per person.
