I'm planning on baking cupcakes for a friends party, but they want them filled. If I do a strawberry jam filling is it ok to fill them and frost them 24hrs before the party? I'm nervous about them getting mushy. Tips and tricks? gastro
Assuming they are stored in a cool, dry place they should be fine. I would be sparing with the jam. A good buttercream frosting will be fine for twenty four hours.
