My fifth graders really like passes for the following: trade seats for the day, teacher desk (work at my desk for a class period), teacher chair, choose a brain break, choose a dance party song, teacher assistant, free choice math game time, choose a partner for a project/activity, +3 points on a test or quiz, and $1 for the school store.
I will. We don't go back until the 31st. Often, they always want food rewards and movies/shows I can't show them so I like to have some suggestions so they know what is reasonable and what isn't.
I teach HS but just made up a bunch of "coupons" yesterday--rewards for things like winning a review game or what have you.
Some other ones I did: -Free late HW pass (It is usually half off for a late assignment, but this allows them to turn it in late for full credit) -Hat pass (Student can wear a hat in my class, which is not usually allowed in the dress code) -Bring a snack to class one day -10 minutes of down time during work time (Can take 10 min to put head down, listen to music, play an online game, etc during work time on an assignment) -Comfy couch pass (During silent work time, student can go work on the comfy couches in the library)
