I qualify - score of 30 so just barely. If it were not for my salary I wouldn't. And under our current immigration law no one is going to sponsor someone for my job - there are too many citizens and residents that already qualify.

I tested for nurses when I saw this earlier. You'd have to be in a serious sweet spot of being in your upper 20's (not over 30), having a bachelor's degree, and then even still you'd have to be paid slightly above market for years of experience. If you are over 30 you need a master's degree to qualify. And this is an occupation for which we have a serious shortage!! Of course unless you are working in a seriously underserved area or are from Canada or Mexico you can't get in on a work visa right now - but at least you could still get in on a family-based visa.
