Class meeting today. From 8:30-9:30....which means my husband had to take off work to watch H.
A still dresses more like a little kid. Several girls at the meet and greet last night were dressed like the 8-10 year olds I see, aka Justice, ugh please let A dress cute for at least this year!
A went from super excited for kindergarten to super scared. It doesn't help both times we went the room had all the kids and parents so it was packed and loud. I think she'll be fine after she finds a kid to play with.
Am I broken, guys? Everyone keeps asking how much I cried at K drop off this morning. And I'm like...none? Lol. She went to this school for preK 5 days a week last year. And when all my kids are in school this will be me on the first day...
Not broken you're good I think I'll be like that too

Jamie also went to school 5 days all day last year. It's a new school for him, but tons of his friends will be there sooooo I don't see myself being a crier.
A failed her kindergarten screening so bad She refuses to do anything I want her to do so she barely knows any of her letters, ugh.
Then H has diarrhea and vomiting again, like he gets every other week it seems, and I cannot figure out what is causing it and the doctor didn't even seem to really know what to check for because it's so random. I'm so sick of washing sheets every night and changing 10 poopy diapers a day.

@lindy there's no such thing as failing the screener! A lot of kids come in without academics. It's a great baseline and you will be so proud of the progress in kinder! It helps them balance classes and plan for differentiation In my opinion kinder has the largest spread of abilities and kinder teachers are magical to meet all their needs.
Omg @lindy I am so sorry! Could you start a food diary maybe? Maybe there's something triggering him?! If that doesn't work I'd push my doc to see a specialist bc that is not normal. with A hopefully being at school will be different and she'll pick things up quickly. My kids are SO different with teachers/instructors than with me!
I am sending you virtual wine and pizza. And lots and lots of hugs.
I've been thinking food for awhile, but I tried tracking and didn't notice anything similar. I did, in frustration yesterday, take him off all fresh fruit and diary because I feel like those are the most likely causes. So far no vomits or diarrhea today, so I guess we will see. I've had him off cows milk for 8 months maybe, because he was diary sensitive when he was little and BFing but it didn't make much of a difference.
