I'm still reading Sex Object and listening to John Adams (on my phone). John Adams goes back tomorrow and I'm only in chapter 7 of 26. I'll have to request the book again.
Sock-sock/shoe-shoe
ETS: I have to say, the wealth of info and writing style is awesome for the John Adams book. Learning so much more about the early days and founding of our country. I highly recommend it and will check it out again.

I finished Gulp by Mary Roach. She is by far my favorite non fiction author! Not quite as good as Stiff, but really interesting. I finished Al Franken Giant of the Senate on audio. Seriously one of the best audiobooks I have ever listened to. He narrated it (of course) so the delivery and timing was great. I started Beast on audio (one of those free sync audiobooks) and it's kinda meh so far. I picked up American Lion again. I have struggled with this biography. Its non linear and that messes with my brain.
I keep my shoes in the garage so I'm a sock sock, wander around the house until I'm ready to leave, shoe shoe kinda girl

I finished Jolly Foul Play and began She Lover of Death, but it's chapters are long and I have been exhausted at night so I have not been making too much progress. Erast Fandorin is one of my favorite characters, and he has yet to make an appearance, so I'm getting a bit frustrated as well.
QOTW: If there will be a delay before we got out, I only put socks on, saving shoes to right before we leave. But if I'm getting dressed and heading out quickly, it's sock-shoe/sock-shoe, getting one side completely finished before moving to the other.

I'm late to this post. I started "The Hate U Give" this weekend. Got about 50% through. It's so good, I can't wait for the discussion.
QOTW: I like to go barefoot or sandals most of the time. When I do wear socks I put those on one at a time, then shoes, usually because my shoes are downstairs.
Over the weekend I finished - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - 3* A Man Called Ove - 5*
Currently reading - Inside the O'Briens - about a dad diagnosed with Huntington's and i believe is going in the direction of if his 4 kids will decide to be tested for it
Alexander Hamilton - I'm like 6 chapters from being done. It's been good, but is long and I'm ready for it to wrap up.
MrsAxilla, I'm also reading Mists of Avalon! It is SO LONG. I'm like 93% done and still have 60 something pages to go. I've also read a couple other books while reading this one (library books so they had a deadline), including Bird Box (creepy but kinda anticlimactic for me).

QOTW - socks then shoes
Yes, it is so long!! I'm only 25% in. The last one I read that was this long was Gone With the Wind, and that's when I decided to count pages instead of books. A 1000 page book should be worth four regular ones.
