I saw a trumptrain sticker on my way to school drop off this morning and I seriously started yelling, I had to contain it because my kids were in the car and I'm not prepared to answer "why is the world coming to an end?"
It's like, I start to feel better because I take deep breaths and I remind myself that this is all posturing and this is not going to be how a war with NK starts, because NK doesn't actually want a war with the US.
There's no way that's true, right? Because there would have to be a consult with Congress to do any actual war preparation, yes? What the fuck is he doing!? Where is Kelly???

He's the commander in chief. The system is set up to allow him to defend the country in case of imminent threat.
This is not a political article. Instead, it outlines the president’s authority to use military force without congressional approval. Historically, presidents have regularly used military force without congressional approval. More recently, that has included President Trump in Syria, President Obama in Libya in 2011, and President Clinton in Kosovo in 1999.
