I'm with you, udscoobychick, I'm so groggy today! I actually missed my infusion appointment this morning because I kept hitting snooze and I forgot about it. Oops. Thank goodness they let me easily reschedule for Friday.
I was up an hour before my alarm went off this morning, so I'm groggy too. I had a CT Scan this morning to hopefully find out what this mass is in my abdomen. I'm trying to compartmentalize and not think about results right now.
Good news: I'm working remote the rest of the day so I can actually get some work done. So glad for this. Right now I'm out enjoying lunch by myself. Thank goodness for solo work time; I've been around people too much lately.
I'm here. I woke up before 7:30 (on a day off!) because one of my cats was being an asshole and because my parents called me. They're going to help me with upgrading my PC to Windows 10, setting up my internet, and it sounds like when they come down we might go car shopping. It's weird though, my dad is saying it seems to make more sense to go car shopping up there, but I keep trying to remind them that my mechanic is down here, so he can't look at a car if it's not down here.
My program manager almost gave me a heart attack. She told me to go check my text messages because of a critical issue, so I figured this is something sensitive that she can't say over company communication lines, and I'm wondering what is about to blow up (figuratively). I check my messages, and there's a picture of an award that I will apparently be receiving for working on a big proposal earlier this year! I'm excited and happy, but man, maybe "critical issue" wasn't the way to describe it!
Pshh, there was just a study that said that coffee drinkers live longer, gault . You're good.
This is excellent news, because I don't know if I could deal without my coffee...
S fell asleep last night at 7 and slept until almost 3! This is huge for my non sleeper. Poor kid got my sleep habits. He doesn't nap much during the day, and wakes up at least twice in the middle of the night usually at 1 and 5:30. He goes right back to sleep after a bottle, but the interruption to my already crappy sleep schedule is exhausting.
I got my butt back in the gym this week, but I'm still feeling super sluggish. I hope I'm not getting sick... Now is not the time for that.

My favorite local brewery closed last week with no warning. There was a fire sale of sorts last night and my friend grabbed a growler and some glassware for me. The closure hot the beer community really hard, it was the brewery that made it possible for many of the others to exist. Even if you didn't like the beer, you could recognize it was a good beer just not your style.
