It's only 10am and I hate everyone, LOL. I'm just slammed this week and cranky.

I'm WFH. So far, I have opened a word doc and made an omelette. And I feel not one bit guilty about it.

I'm also pondering my eclipse playlist. So far I have Black Hole Sun, Total Eclipse of the Heart, and Painted Black. What else would you listen to while either road tripping to/from the eclipse or drinking and watching the eclipse?  ETA: Dark Side of the Moon.

I'm here but still beat. I need a day off. The inspection laws changed in my state and now my dark tinted windows will get me a failed inspection (so stupid). So, I spent the morning coordinating with my local tinting place to get the tint pulled off, so I can get my car inspected and then get the tint put back on. This new law is so ridiculous. Part of me loves my progressive state and part of me cannot state how stupidly regulated it is.

My mom is driving down to pick me up and then we're going car shopping. I've found three cars I want to look at. One is down here by me, one is up by her, and the third is currently a few hours away but I requested a transfer so we'll see how quickly they can get it to a more accessible CarMax location. They're three different cars but I'm excited about them all for different reasons. A white Accord, a silver Civic hybrid (the interior looks strange, that's the only concern), and a burgundy Civic with a moonroof and beige leather interior (everything I'd want in a car but didn't think I'd be able to get). We'll see how it goes! I haven't driven at all since June 5th so I'm sure it'll be a little strange. I'm anticipating lots of feelings today, since yesterday I was getting really sad about not having my car anymore.

One of my favorite co-workers last day is tomorrow - boo. I'm going to try out a new cake recipe to make starburst cupcakes. Our running joke in the office is that he is always eating those mini-chewy starbursts and I run over to get some as soon as I hear him crinkle the bag. Not sure if this will produce a weird flavored cake, I'm focused on the cherry/strawberry versions.

I am annoyed as all can be. Over the course of the last 6 months I have received a couple notices from my school saying I owe them $900. Each time I get the letter I call the business office and they say this is a mistake, there is no balance due. Well low and behold I received a notice in the mail today from a collection agency for this. I just got off the phone with my school once again and they said it is mistake and will take care of it. I understand things fall thru the cracks and what not but come the fuck on, I have called numerous times and been assured it would be handled at the business office but nope, no one did anything. If this hits my credit report in any way, shape or form, heads are gonna role.
