New here and intro

Hello, I'm new here and just checking out the forums.

I'm almost 41 and have been married for 9 years. We've been separated for almost as long. It was a very short lived marriage and was a huge mistake in the first place, but we haven't gotten divorced yet. Though it's been on my heart lately to finally release us both from it.

Besides my brief marriage 9 years ago, I haven't dated anyone in the last 20 years and I don't really have any desire to.

I'm not 'starting over', I'm just checking out the forums here. I'm an avoidant so I don't have any friends in real life and I'm pretty much a homebody, so I'm just looking for a place to hang out and chat with others.

I do have something on my mind actually. I just keep asking myself if it really matters or not (what it is that's on my mind). Probably not. I think perhaps I will try to get some sleep.
