If you tested early, did you get a BFP on the same dpo?

I had a BFN today at 9dpo, which I know is super early, but I got an obvious BFP at 9dpo with my first.

Can implantation happen at different rates in the same person? I'm kind of lol at how silly this question is.

I think it's definitely possible and probably likely

Yes, implantation varies with every pregnancy. 9 DPO is still really early, so there's still a good chance you get a BFP later on.

Yeah mine have varied. I know with DS I got a BFP at 9DPO and remember being shocked I could see it so early because my previous ones were 11DPO and....I forget. But not that early.

No. My first pregnancy, I wasn't charting, so I have no idea what DPO I was. Second pregnancy, also not charting, but I assumed I ovulated around CD14, so I tested CD35.

Last two pregnancies, I charted, and I took a test on CD32, both I ovulated on CD 13.

Thank you all. I know I'm not out until AF shows but I'm having a hard time not comparing with my first.

With my first two pregnancies, I got my BFP on day 40--one was a MMC and the other was DS1. I think I was 24 DPO for both and I had gotten negatives the week before, so around 17 DPO. With my third pregnancy (DS2), I got a BFP on day 29. I think I was 13 DPO. I was temping for all three but no OPK's so hence the "thinking" about the DPO. I worried about late implantation the first two times and multiples the third time, so I get the over analyzing things.
