Well A was doing great and now this week every morning she's claiming she's sick and has to stay home and watch TV. So...ugh hopefully that ends soon when she realizes she still has to go. Or hopefully she doesn't get sick today :/
I found out I was pregnant with A 6 years ago! I text my husband the timehop photo of the pee stick from back then and forgot to clarify it was from 6 years ago. Sent like 10 follow up texts to make sure he knew I wasn't pregnant now lol
Omg A threw up at school and told everyone she threw up before school and I still made her so. So now they're all pissed. Oh and she didn't you know go to the bathroom, she threw up alllll over her table she shares with other kids.
Omg @lindy that sucks! I swear you guys have had way more than your fair share of the pukes!
racheliz how are you guys? Are you getting flooding?
We are good! We are in a tropical storm warning and will have wind and rain tomorrow. There was another shift eastward which pushed some of the heavier rain away.
And don't feel bad @lindy . I make Grace go unless she's puked or has a fever or some other really tell tale symptom. Otherwise I assume she's just tired and wants to watch tv and stay home.
Ugh thanks. I totally emailed the teacher apologizing. I feel awful, but then she is currently playing in her room acting normal so wtf child.

@lindy oh no!! Peyton had a nasty burp this morning that lead to her puke in her mouth. I took her temp (98.6) and took her to school. On the way she said "mama why did I throw up this morning?" I was all "let's not call it throwing up, you had a nasty burp, sometimes that happens if you eat to fast. Don't go around telling people you threw up today, they're going to think your sick!" Haha.
Oh no @lindy. A was sick Wednesday, went Thursday, and I made her go Friday because she seemed fine. Started complaining of her head hurting in the morning. Then she got sent home at 11 with fever and strep symptoms.
I'm never here, but I'm waiting on a kid to finish a quiz. Hope everyone is well. I'm super tired. It's been a crazy day and all I want is a giant pizza. But my fat ass is doing keto, so no carbs for me. It makes me sad, but it's working so I should stick with it
A handful of mothers side eyed me today in k class bc he was raising his hand and asking questions and being cute and outgoing and quirky I hate birchy women and especially ones that raise similar kids
I really hope my child doesn't go through school without Friends I Hate people
Thanks all. Her teacher didn't email me back, and I had a question about when she can return. Technically their policy is only 12 hours after vomiting so I asked about that. Now I'm not sure what to do, she's been completely normal since 10:30am
Oh no @lindy! Way to throw you under the bus! Lol. I hope she stays healthy and you hear back from her teacher soon!
racheliz - I hope Harvey fizzles before it reaches you guys!
onehitwonder - are you expected to get hit? Aren't you in LA or is my brain completely fried?
G seems to have enjoyed the first two days of kindergarten! He's a sweetheart and appears to make friends, but he can also be a little hyper/quirky and I worry about him. The local fire dept held the doors for them yesterday and handed out stickers; he was in heaven with the engine there!

I similarly hate people. Some little shit was making fun of Kalvin's speech on a ride at Hershey Park last week. I may or may not have said something quite loud that making fun of others is a reflection of hate in their heart and not anything about the child being made fun of.
I can promise you, that he will have friends. There's a little girl at aftercare that's been with Kalvin for two years, has seen his meltdowns and tantrums and yet, she claims she will marry him one day. He loves her as well, his best friend even if they go to different schools. And I stopped by his 2nd grade class (day 2) today to drop off goodies and he was sitting with friends and they told me that they are so happy to see him. His second grade class has 11 kids that were in his class last year since it was a multiage class.

Come around more We are having a tough time as parents
I'm worried about friends too teamhayes. Wish we lived closer and they could be friends! It's so tough. F bitchy women!
I keep asking B about his friends and he keeps telling me the kids from his classroom last year. I finally told him he has to make new friends, and he said my NEW friends are... and was able to name a couple that I know are in his class. I told him to be kind and say hi to them. Idk. I just wish I could help him through it.
I'm worried about friends too teamhayes and blane12. We don't know anyone at his elementary school - he went to a different zoned preschool. He's really outgoing and inquisitive with adults, but so awkward around kids his age. We have orientation tomorrow night.
I'm really nervous about how he does with his teacher. He had an awful time with the aides in his class last year, and with all of the substitutes.
ktstorm - that's a lot like my B too. He gravitates to the adults, and was in a different preschool. I hope your orientation goes well. I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually, but it's so nerve wracking in the meantime.
