We're throwing a baby shower for my co-worker. We pulled our money together (we're a small dept of 5 people) and got him a $150 Target giftcard and spent $10 on Pampers Swaddlers (newborn).
The diapers came in a pack of 36. I've seen the diaper cake, which I think it really creative, but a) the newborn diapers are SO SMALL, and b) most DIY diaper cakes take more than 36 diapers.
Are there any other creative ways to gift diapers instead of just wrapping it and putting on a bow?
I love the diaper wreath idea. But being the OCD/germaphobe that I am, I don't think I'd wrap the wreath base w/the inside of the diapers. That's the part that's going to be in contact with the baby's skin. DH went OCD on me when I used rubberbands from the office for his co-worker's diaper cake and asked if I would use diapers that had been secured w/a gross rubberband.

Diaper cake or anything similar annoys me to be honest with you. I'm sure my SIL is making me a diaper motorcycle thing like she does for showers, but it's just a waste, IMO.
If you want a cute presentation I'd just put the diapers in some sort of cute basket. Maybe with some diaper cream & some wipes - you could do burp clothes or a blanket too if you wanted to make it a full gift basket.

I'd personally like even just the diapers stacked in a basket with a bow tied around it more than a wreath or something that I'd have to undo.
