1. I partially fell off the wagon due to my CE class Wednesday. I got 4/7 workouts in and food was fine until DH made scotcheroos on Saturday. I ate like 5 on Sunday because I have no self control. 2. I have 3 more workouts to finish on this "round" of 21 day fix. It's taken my a month but I'm trying to not be hard on myself for not being able to "do it all" 3. Follow the eating plan all the way through the weekend with one cheat meal on Friday. My brother get our dad's favorite lunch on the anniversary of his passing and on his birthday and its not a healthy meal. 4. My ass is starting to look better.

1. Last week, I got in all 4 CF workouts that I was targeting. did pretty well with food (if you ignore my indulgent date night on Thursday that included fancy cocktails, lots of bread, a porkchop that could have been shared by 5 people and a ridiculous dessert that I won't even describe).
2. Hoping to get to the gym Wed/Th/Fri. Saturday would be a bonus. We have big girls birthday party this weekend, so we have a lot of prep to do. Maybe I'll Shred (probably not). I did get in a nice long walk with both girls in a double stroller yesterday, so that was nice.
3. Excluding a girlfriend date tonight, I have high hopes that between now and Sunday's pizza/cake binge, we'll be eating pretty healthy. I'm going to focus on no post-dinner snacks.
4. Nah. I feel like I haven't really had one lately. I need to step it up.
xctsclrx, you're more than halfway to your 30-day goal! Keep it up!
1. Last week I had no goals with it being my last week of mat leave. Gave myself a pass on everything.
2. My goal this week is 2 workout classes and 2 runs.
3. No eating out and cutting back on the coffees. I've gotten into the habit of having 2 or 3 coffees a day. Need to get back to drinking tea and much more water.
4. We went to a family BBQ Saturday and everyone commented on my weight loss, that felt great. I'm 45 lbs down since have DS. I only gained 22 lbs with him, so lots of extra weight. Only 8 lbs to go to get to get to pre DD weight.

judyblume14, I might need you to start selling me on cross fit. If I don't have to have surgery at the end of the year, I think thats my next adventure. There is amazingly a gym in this small town that everyone that goes raves about. DH and I are thinking about trying it out but he has some lingering issues from when he broke his foot 3 years ago and I'm hesitant with my lower back issues. However, a friend of mine has similar back issues and hers actually feels better now that she's been going.
1. How did last week go? I got 3 workouts in last week. Calorie intake was better.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? I got to the gym yesterday, so I need to get a workout in two more times this week. Not sure when that is going to happen...
3. What are your food goals for the week? Stick with MyFitnessPal app to track my calories
4. Any non-scale victories? I had to take back a pair of pants that I bought a month ago because they were too loose. Then I tried on a pair of pre-preggo pants and they fit!
1. Last week went pretty well. Got all my workouts in and ate well. 2. This week will be tough. DD1 goes back to school, DH has to travel, so I am solo parenting as all of the activities start up. Next week will be even worse, though, as DH will be gone from Mon - Sun, DD2 starts school, and all of her activities kick in as well. So I'm aiming for 4 workouts, and will just do the best I can. 3. Just keep trying to stay on a healthy track and not order takeout too much. 4. Non-scale - After living without a real budget for the last several years, we are now having to be strict since I left my job and DH started up his own thing. DH's part is easy - stop ordering crap on Amazon. But I'm responsible for all the fluid stuff - groceries, clothes, electric, entertainment. Last week, we not only stuck to our once-a-week takeout, but I've underspent the grocery budget 2 weeks in a row, and we're eating really well. I'm proud of myself. :-)

The coolest thing about crossfit is that ANYONE can do it. There are scaling options and modifications for EVERYONE. I did crossfit all the way through both of my pregnancies. Both times, i worked out on the day I went into labor. And I did it safely.
I'm not as strong as everyone at my gym, so I do the same movements with less weight. Someone with a bum should might substitute a completely different movement instead of putting weight above their head.
In the past six months I have worked out with the following people:
-teenagers -pregnant women -new moms -someone recovering from a quad tear -someone with chronic back pain (who also says she feels better when working out) -someone wearing a sling because of a broken collar bone -a woman less than 4 feet tall (who could front squat more than me) -my favorite workout buddy is my gym mom. She's 65 years old, started crossfit in January and has lost 25 pounds. She was out for 6 weeks after injuring her arm (unrelated to working out), has just returned, modifies a lot of movements, and impresses the hell out of everyone.
Crossfit is expensive. Crossfit yields results when you put in the work. The sense of community is amazing. I've dropped into several boxes while travelling and most are SO welcoming. I've been lucky that the 2 gyms I've called home have been super family friendly too. I take the little baby and if she cries, no one gets mad, I just go tend to her...OR any of the coaches of other members will try to make her smile. When I take my big girl, she'll sometimes do the workouts "with" me. I'll put her on my lap when I'm rowing, we'll do hi-five situps, etc.
it's also a ton of fucking work. I LOVE crossfit when I'm on my way to a class. Or right afterwards when I feel like a bad ass. I lvoe it right now, when I'm telling you about it. But the 45 minutes during class, I basically cuss the whole time that i hate it ;-)
I have been released from insurance due to the car accident we were in back in December. 8 months later. I'm really out of shape and need to get my butt in gear and now that I'm back to where I was as far as back stability I need to find my motivation and energy to start something.
Tues/Thurs yoga work out before dinner. Friday - walk to the insurance office for my appointment if the air quality improves
Keep eating all the good food. Ate tons of veggies and healthy stuff this weekend and didn't do appetizers or fast food!!!
1. How did last week go? Not great but I'm ok with that. It was my first week back to work and we went away for the weekend. I ate delicious food! Now back to reality.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? Sun rest Mon rest Tues lift Wed wake up early and get 4 miles in on the treadmill Thurs 2 miles at night on the treadmill Friday rest Sat lift Sunday 6 or 7 miles outside
3. What are your food goals for the week? It's my first week on my RP template. For REAL for real!! I'm very excited about how good I'm going to feel.
4. Any non-scale victories? Our schedule is that DH picks up all the kids and gets dinner ready on Tuesdays. (I do Monday's and Wednesdays and we both do Thursdays.) I'm sitting in the gym locker room, already done my workout and playing around on my phone for a few minutes before getting in the steam room and sauna. Yayyyy Tuesdays!
2chatter - I'm addicted to Garden Lites muffins. Chocolate are my jam. I would recommend the banana chocolate chip, but I remember your aversion to all things banana.

1. How did last week go? Not good. I have an IT band injury from too much running. I had to take a few days off and ate all my feelings over the weekend.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? I’m trying to focus more on strength training this week with a few easy runs.
3. What are your food goals for the week? To not eat crap
4. Any non-scale victories? No. I’m just really disappointed that I have to cut back on running. It is a great stress reliever for me.
Well, I have to restart my 30 days. I developed a fever Tuesday night and couldn't do anything yesterday. Probably won't be doing anything today. I feel awful. Hurts everywhere.

judyblume14, I definitely could, however this is more of a "I want to make working out part of my everyday routine" thing vs working out for 30 days straight thing. I read somewhere that it takes a month to truly develop a habit. That is where the 30 days comes from.
