Last week I spent quality time with my dog and worked on organizing my space.
I managed to get some friends together for mini-golf one night. It was fun, except the part where they all started to talk about their husbands. I felt like the odd one out.
This week: Kindergarten starts next week, so we are enjoying our last week of summer. More of the same, really.
There is wildfire ash all over our city this morning, so I'm not sure if we will spend much time outside.
I enjoyed a couple of really pleasant walks in the park with some unseasonably cool weather.
The challenge? I will try. Mother's got some pre-op testing tomorrow in the city and surgery Monday. With Irma heading to Florida, I expect my father's antics to ramp up because of anxiety over the house he no longer owns there but doesn't understand is sold. With luck my mother (who isn't great at redirecting) will be in the hospital when it hits and his caregiver (who is) can deal.

Thanks cam -- yeah, we were never very close to any danger or areas that needed to be evacuated ... just had to tolerate some poor air quality. I think a lot of people are still feeling it this week.
