I just found out about this the other day. I ordered it today and should get it in a couple of days. I'm not as excited about it, but I hope it will renew my interest in Choal. Let's discuss when we've all finished!

I kind of am. I feel like it was a really good plot/premise for the first few books but by the end of Empire of Storms it was just dragging. I cant keep all the stuff straight.

I will probably read this one but I'll get it out of the library.

I wasn't too excited about it. I bought it because I saw you need to know what happens for the last book. I actually like it so far.

I also saw a spoiler about Maeve (it's in TOD, just haven't gotten to that part yet) and I'm like OMG.

Yeah I did not love Empire of Storms so I am weary about this one but I did really like Choal for the first few book so hopefully this book will make me like him again! I'm just not excited about a whole book being dedicated to him. But it's Sarah J. Maas so I will read it.

Put me in the "not excited" group. He had a total personality transplant in book #4 (Queen of Shadows), so reading a whole book just about him is not on the top of my list of things to do. So I'm waiting to see how my friends like it and review it before I commit to reading it. So far 24 GR friends have added it but zero have read it LOL!

So I didn't like Kale and wasn't excited about this book at all, but I ended up liking it.

I really liked some of the new characters she introduced and you also learn a lot more about the Valg. If you plan on reading the last book next year, you should 100% read this.
