Opened the fridge this morning to find that DS1 and DS2's cups are not spill proof and emptied in their lunch bags that were all nicely packed. At least my fridge shelf is now clean!
Any recommendations for a good spill proof drink thermos a preschooler can open? They bring their own lunch and need a drink. Neither like the Horizon milk in a box and they are not allowed juice boxes (not healthy says the school) so really they will drink water.
Bubba straw bottles from Walmart. They are the only ones that have lasted - we have Contigo, Thermos, Sistema and several that are hand wash only, which is a PITA.
Camelbacks are also good but spendier for kids who may lose them.
We use the Thermos Funtainers with the straw for water and haven't had any problems so far. We use a small Thermos with a twist off cover for her milk.
Help me shop for all the fall clothes. Bonus points for layer and warmth, and I need shoes too. Business casual to dressy weekend and casual weekend type clothes. I don't want to spend much because I need a lot of stuff probably so each item needs to be not too pricey under $50.
I do have several long sleeve shirts, so I need maybe shirts or blouses or sweaters to layer over them, and I love lightweight sweatshirts.
I'll pay more for shoes because of comfort. For example, unless its really cold boots are usually too hot, booties are OK but for now weather wise too hot, so I am wearing tennis shoes at work due to my host of foot issues. I live in sandals in the summer. Probably need something comfortable and cute for fall that is not a boot or tennis shoes. Most flats are uncomfortable to me, and loafers tend to rub the back of my foot.
We use camelback and the Thermos ones others mentioned. I think drinks stay colder in the Thermos but I hate cleaning it (the straw and lid part are much smaller). They do make replacement straw parts now for the Thermos ones which is nice.
