Weekend Randoms

What's everyone up to this weekend?

Going to visit my grandma in the hospital in a bit. My brother is coming to town so that's a good excuse to get a pizza and have him over for dinner tonight.

Taking the girls grocery shopping and out of the house tomorrow so DH can do a few online courses without so much noise in the house.

H is working all weekend. The only plans I have are an hour long massage and a leg strength workout tomorrow, so I'm just laying around, being lazy, and continuing my Arrow marathon on Netflix.

After my tattoos yesterday, I'm in a lot more pain than I anticipated. My shoulder just burns like I would expect it to, but my wrist is crazy swollen, I can barely move it, and the pain is radiating up into my hand.

Lots I need to do, nothing I have energy for. Watching TV all day is productive, right?

Actually I should probably brew some coffee and get up. We literally found mold growing on the floor of our car. I need to at least clean that up. *gag*.

Oh, also I need opinions on painting our banister. This isn't happening today, but I'm trying to have it planned for when I get some other free moments. Walls and carpet are grey similar to all those pictured. 

A: All White


B: Grey Banister, White Spindles


C: White Banister, Black Spindles (Our banister is identical to the ones above, so try visualizing that shape instead, but this floor layout is correct, with a room on each side and a little bit of floor around the stair base)

Well with 3 different answers at least it sounds like I can't go wrong!

I'm tempted to try the grey and white first because it's the photo I love most. I'm also the most skeptical of it looking well in real life.

ETA: I changed my mind. If you like gray and white best, might as well paint a small portion that way first! If you like it, keep going. If not, switch to all white.

We went to a local(ish) zoo today for a fall event they had going on. I saw the event floating around FB and randomly decided this morning to go. It was fun! We hadn't been to this zoo before (it's much smaller than the ones we're used to, and not really close enough that I wanted to make the drive until today). E seemed to like it but he's been cranky the last few days and said last night that his ear hurt so I'm hoping he doesn't have another ear infection Only other thing I'm planning this weekend is laundry! Super exciting! Haha.

I like the all white too amaranth

Normal day here. Took C to the park while L napped. I made dinner so it's done and I don't have to worry about it later. Boys are napping now (DH is paddle boarding at the lake) and then we are going to the mall for a bit.

Tomorrow- taking C to the park in the morning, we might actually try to go to church (and leave both boys in their classrooms, L has never been so that might be interesting).

I need to grocery shop and possibly Costco at some point and I should start making progress on L's bday party but I am not sure how much of this will get done. DH is off on Monday too so he can play in a 9/11 charity golf tournament.

All white is my first choice, then the white and black.

I woke up at 4:45, just had trouble sleeping because something was on my mind. DS ended up getting up pretty early too which also woke DH up so it's been a long day for all of us. I've mainly been doing work and watching football.

Tomorrow is church, possibly out to brunch (have a gift certificate that's expiring), and a trip to Kohl's. Not sure what else, hopefully at least a little relaxation!

Had a work party today.

Tomorrow we have church and football as well as laundry and grocery shopping.

Hoping to straighten up the house a little bit and fold laundry but that will depend on my energy level and if ds cooperates as in stays away from the laundry and doesnt undo all my cleaning.

Yay! I get to drive home today. We are currently buying tires for my car since we never planned on my car being used for this trip and my front tires are completely bald. H didn't feel safe with me driving home like that.

Had a rough day yesterday. But everyone was so kind to me. Felt God was helping my crappy emotions!!! At least we played better football this week.

Today I took the kids to church like usual. DH wanted me to bring him KFC lol so I'm on my way home from that.

We spent 3.5 hours at the zoo today with my parents and C. It was the perfect day for it. C rode the carousel for the first time (and second and third lol), and loved it. Now we're just chilling at home therest of the day.

((Hugs)) MrsMB. Sorry you had a rough day yesterday but glad you were showered with love and grace.

DH's BFF met us at the park this morning so it was nice to see him and their kiddos. We went to church but it didn't go that well...C did awesome and had a blast but I got a text halfway through that I needed to come get L. Poor little guy was such a mess, it really broke my heart. It's also making me feel like I am never going to have a life again. He does ok for DH but he hasn't been left a lot and he gets totally anxious around my parents and is always making sure I am still within sight. Hopefully it's just a stage and will pass...never had these issues with C even though I hardly left him with anyone either.
