DD (4) wants to be Batgirl. Cute but otherwise, she is not very interested in superheroes. I could easily have DS (2) dress as batman, but he is not into superheroes at all. He probably doesn't even know who Batman is. Another thought was he could be Joker and I could be Harley Quinn because DD loves Suicide Squad.

But I think I am just going to have him go as Marshall from Paw Patrol instead, so it is something he truly likes. He still isn't vocal and decisive enough to choose something himself.

This morning DD said she wants to be Poppy and wants DS to be a ninja. He's got the same name as one of the Ninjago characters so might do that.

I asked DD1 what she wanted to be last night and she said a princess. Ugh! She was Elsa last year and I'm just not into the princess stuff.

We were at target last weekend and they had exactly 1 Marshall costume in DS size so we grabbed it. We asked him what he wanted and that was it. Hopefully he doesnt change his mind between now and halloween.

Score! I told a mom at a party today that DD wants to be an astronaut for Halloween. She has two astronaut costumes including helmet, so we can borrow one! Yay! One down, one to go.

DS wants to be SpiderMan or Marshall. He was Marshall last year, so I think he thinks that's what he's supposed to be. But he's pretty pumped about SpiderMan. And we already have the mask, so maybe I can get away with long-sleeved SpiderMan pjs? Because we have those.

Yes too early for me. I have to get through DS's birthday party and Boy Scout camp out first. Then I'll tackle costumes in October. The plan is to buy on Amazon ha ha.
