All I can say is I AM SO RELIEVED!!! And also feel pathetic that I was THIS worried about it.

I've been peeved ALL season waiting to hear who will be back. I really REALLY hope Shonda will decide to end the show after these renewed contracts are up in 2 years. It's always better when a show picks their own end date and works towards it than letting the show linger forever (like ER). However Shonda be crazy and Greys is her baby, so I don't think she will take the high road.

Do we know who dies next week? I'm too lazy to go back to TN and check and see if it was posted there.

we do not know yet, word is that it is a "beloved" cast member. However not an original cast member.

my money is on Arizona, or MAYBE Lexie. Both have had pretty weak storylines, and Arizona's has mostly revolved around mentoring Karev, which is pretty much done now.

I agree, pugz, it could be Arizona or Lexie. I'd say Arizona is more "beloved" than Lexie, but that could just be my own opinion. Plus with her comments to Callie ("Don't ever leave me") it kind of lends itself to her being the one who dies... but this could all be Shonda's intent - that we assume it's someone from the plane crash who perishes, could be a set up to be someone back at Seattle Grace.

If it's Arizona? Poor Callie. Two dead spouses?!! Sheesh.

Next week can't get here fast enough! I'm a total hypocrite for saying this, but I'm kiiiiind of glad it hasn't been spoiled, even though I love me some spoilers, I'm looking forward to it playing out on the screen.

I didn't even think of that till now!! Sad! I'm betting that it is Arizona who dies which will leave a place for Alex to step up and fill her position at Seattle Grace.

I agree with both bolded statements. I love spoilers, but I am secretly glad this is so closely guarded. I was wondering if Callie is the one who dies though. Would certainly be a shock and she is beloved. I think though that Arizona dying would make Alex stay, which would be more in line with the contract renewal we saw.

Could it be Hunt or Teddy? I mentioned to a friend that if one of them passed, perhaps Cristina would stay at SGH. Just a thought.

I also wonder if it is Callie who dies. Especially after the scene last night where she comes across Arizona crying and Arizona says to her "don't ever leave..."

Huh. I believed that Derek and Mer were really leaving and I was okay with them heading to Boston and living happily ever after...
Of course I wasn't actually gonna watch the show after that. Lol

I'm surprised that Patrick Dempsey signed on for another two years, he seemed pretty adamant in interviews that he was done after this season. I'm going to have to rethink my predictions for next weeks episode!
