Mary Kay Eye Shadow

I got a free Mary Kay compact along with a few things to put into it. I tried the eye shadow and it doesn't seem to have much pigmentation. It doesn't go on the color that it looks like, at all. Do I just need to put a ton on? Are all of the shadows this way or just the few I tried. Guess I'm glad I didn't pay for them.

I have that same problem with some shadows, but not others. I find I have to put the lighter shadows on heavier for them to show up, but the darker ones are really pigmented.

I have a friend who sells MK, and even she says the eyeshadows aren't good.

I think her issues are more related to staying power.
