I've got a busy week planned:
Mon - Therapy appt, rescheduled from last week. Wed - Going out after work for a friend's birthday. Fri - Going to my aunt's house for dinner. Sat - Going to another aunt's house for a BBQ.
Today: On my way to get another flower added into my tattoo.
Tomorrow: Birthday!!!
The rest of the week I'll work on a project at the house. My parents come back in Friday. mom will watch the kids while Dad and I participate in an ALS walk to honor my friend who is the struggling with the disease.
Lots to do this week in prep for L's bday next week!
Today: we already went to 2 grocery stores, bagels, made food for the boys, dinner in the crockpot. L is napping and then we are going to story time. Walking to Starbucks and maybe the park after PM naps.
Fri their Sunday I am solo parenting so DH can go to his parents (6 hrs away) to celebrate his grandmas 90th birthday. My parents are coming either Fri or Sat with dinner and then we will do work for their business once the boys are in bed. Sunday I will take the boys to church and hopefully L will be ok and I can enjoy the whole service 😀
I need to order pictures, order the cake, finish some banners, take pictures of L, and get us all ready for the zoo on Monday (on top of the normal chores and daily life). Weather is nice so hopefully we will go to the park a lot or at least lots of walks!

Today I'm home with E, continuing PTing. It's going well for the most part!
Dentist again on Wed for the 2nd part of my cleaning. Super exciting. I'm not sure why they split it up. Kind of annoying to keep asking off work (well, I didn't ask off as I did the first one on my day off and I'm going in before work this time but still, with my million other appointments I'm sick of rearranging my schedule!). Oh well.
This weekend we're celebrating my grandma's 85th birthday on Sat, then Sun Ren Fest and probably going out to eat for my sister's birthday (which is today). Busy weekend but it'll be fun!
Today is DH's birthday, this weekend we are going to my parents' house. Not sure all of our plans yet, my brother & SIL are supposed to be coming on Sunday with the kids so we might go to the boardwalk. I am thinking maybe apple picking Monday before we head home.
I was so tired last week and feel tired again this week.
Pretty normal week for me. Dance class today. Off Wednesday. Work the rest of the week. Saturday I get to meet my new baby neice and DS has a dance class. Sunday church and football.
tomorrow- dryer repairman coming, orthodontist appointment, 6 month pictures wednesday-friday- work Friday night- babysit another 6 month old Saturday- A is 6 months! OMG! Sunday- niece and nephew's baptisms

I am loving the sound of the rain on my roof right now. It's pouring. I'm sure that I'll be over this weather in 0.2 seconds, but for right now it's absolutely wonderful. <3
amaranth- is the conference away from kids? I hope so, you deserve a break.
wineandcheese- your posts make me miss work, lol. I can't wait to go back.
Happy belated birthday Mr. HoneySpider. I also wanted to say that I LOVED your post on TTH yesterday. I'm working on my next one.
melsamoony- as much as life is so busy right now I can't wait until DD is in some activities. I am going to miss not being able to see my nieces hockey games when we move.
grover- already!! Time is standing still but going so fast all at once.
katespade- we've been having rain off and on for the last 2 days and I love it. Such a much needed relief, we still have 200+ fires burning in BC.
Today: lunch at a friends, then signing our new mortgage paperwork
Wed: last dragon boating paddle. (Doing a moonlight paddle)
Thurs: ***DD and I are going to our new town to interview 3 daycares for sure and possibly a 4th. We will be staying one night at a friends house.
Friday: driving home
Saturday: a friends wedding, DH is a groomsman so I will be solo with DD for most of the day.

((Hugs)) HoneySpider. I loved your post as well. I can definitely relate because I still struggle with the innocence and "life goes on as a mom" after my moms passing. It helps in some ways but it also blocks some much needed time and space to grieve.

C squirted sunscreen, twice, on our carpet. My dad had his company out within an hour and they were able to clean the dining room, entry, and playroom (where sunscreen was). Carpet looks so much better but it looks like the sunscreen marks might be permanent 🙁 Oh well...we have plans to remove it in 5 years when we remodel the kitchen.
Great day overall though. Saw our neighbors, went on a long walk, walked the boys again to the park while the carpets were being cleaned. Neighbor baked a cake and brought us over a few slices. Now we are relaxing and sadly probably heading to bed soon. I am pretty exhausted.

Woke up to a storm last night. Hail was hitting the window and it sounded windy. Apparently we were in a severe thunderstorm warning, haha. That kept me up for about an hour. Now I'm up early because I have to go to the dentist before work and I do NOT want to get out of bed! I need coffee!
I am so tired and run-down feeling this week! It started Sunday when I literally never once fell asleep. Monday and last night, I got about five hours each. 10 hours over three nights is not enough for me!
I have to apply for a certification exam today and my work to-do list is about 10 miles long. I just feel very overwhelmed.
The good news is that I was filling out my calendar, and next month is going to be a really fun one. We're seeing Hamilton, I'm going to bid on lots of fun things at the Through the Heart auction, I'm doing a girls' weekend with my mom, a family trip to Disney World...I am excited!

krystee I'm jealous of your October! All we have going on in Oct is a wedding, which will be fun but I don't know the couple as well (H is better friends with the groom) plus I can't drink.. lame. Lol.

I'm such a klutz. I fell in my driveway bringing my laundry to the car to go to the laundry mat. Luckily no injuries except a scraped knee and a bruised ego. Luckily there were no witnesses lol. I'm finally making a cake for a friend who has been asking me for months for one of my baked goods. H is going to be away tonight so it's a pjs, popcorn and lifetime kinda night. I'm excited even though I'll miss my guy.
On a random note, I started a blog. It's mainly going to be centered around cooking, baking and some crafts. I may even throw in some life, weight loss and makeup stuff. I'm not confident enough to share it with you all yet since I think it's sloppy but will once I get it set up the way I want it and get a better camera to take pictures. My phone camera isn't cutting it. I definitely want your honest opinions when I do share it since I value each and every one of your opinions 😊 Stay tuned!

OMG there is some really good stuff in the auction this year! I'm not going to be able to afford to bid on everything I want to...

wineandcheese - I need to start working on my blog design/content again. I haven't really wanted to document my thoughts lately because I've been stuck in such a dark emotional place (I posted a brain dump in the H&F thread). I'd love to see yours once you're ready to share it!
I am getting nervous about tomorrow/Friday. I am going to interview 3 daycares in hopes to find a good daycare for DD in our new city. All 3 are for full time care, and there is a possible fourth for part time care.
