Hopefully the lymph node is nothing, mrsgoontz. And good luck! You're gonna have a baby soon! Beautiful, oneslybookworm!
I graduated today! Ultrasound looked great. Measuring right on track at 10w6d. We saw baby boy moving around which was really cool. I do have a 20x26mm bleed (although I haven't been spotting at all) and it's gotten bigger since last week, so that's a bit concerning. But I've also still been taking baby aspirin, which apparently I was supposed to stop at 9 weeks and no one told me. So that may be contributing to it. Hopefully next week when I see my OB it hasn't gotten any bigger.
cherryvalance fingers crossed you see some relief in the next 2 weeks (it sucks that it takes so long for the drug to work). mrsgoontz Ewk! Good luck! oneslybookworm gorgeous quilts. I'm so jealous of your abilities
Did anyone here EFF? This is a super dumb question but after your child fed (as an infant) what did you do with them? Now I feed on the boob for 30 minutes then formula 30 minutes then we have about 30 minutes of rocking and soothing but I'm worried if we just formula feed it'll be 30 minutes and done then we'll have an hour of doing......what? I have a hard time figuring out what to do with him in the down time. Sometimes we go for a walk, sometimes we lay on the floor, sometimes we just walk around and sing. I just feel like I'm missing something.
King26, DS spends a lot of time on his playmat and on that Fisher Price kicking piano mat. He LOVES that thing. I just talk to him, tickle him, help him move his hands towards the toys, etc. He also has a lot of exercises to do for his torticollis, though. I actually feel like there's not enough time to do everything with naps.

How old is he King26? He probably should only be awake for about 45 minutes to an hour before needing to nap again. E, at 3 months adjusted, can only go about 1.25 to 1.5 hours between naps. I give her a bottle, then she hangs on her play mat for a awhile until she starts to get tired. We do tummy time, play with her hanging toys, take a bath, get the mail, or sometimes I put her in her bassinet to play with her kick and play piano.

8 week ultrasound went well! I am measuring 8 weeks 2 days at 7 weeks 6 days, heartbeat at 170bpm.
Funny story, my husband is from a small town 2+ hours away from where we live now. This town has a population of 1,000 people now (it was less when he left 10 years ago). The tech was making conversation with me while she was during the ultrasound and we found out that she is from the same small town as my husband and actually knows my husband's younger brother and sister. H graduated high school a couple years before she started so they never met.
Another ultrasound a week today and if all goes well, I graduate from the clinic.
King26, we EFF after 2 months and it was a massive relief. I didn't do a whole lot with her. I watched a lot of TV while she hung out on me or on DH. She had a playmat and would stare at toys and things, but hated tummy time and I couldn't stand to listen to her scream so we didn't do much of that. We did go out a lot more after switching to EFF because I wasn't constantly hooked up to milking machine.

Nope, I don't think you're missing anything. I didn't EFF but we followed an EASY routine (eat-activity-sleep). When B was really young, the "activity" would only last an hour max and consisted of things like changing a diaper, tummy time, going for a walk, going to mommy-and-me class/mom's group, singing a song, laying on the playmat, a bath in the evening, etc. And then once he started rubbing his eyes or fussing, it was nap time. Once he woke, it was time to eat and start the routine over. The entire cycle usually lasted about 2-3 hours. Getting into a routine was a game changer for me.
King26, we also followed EASY when she was younger. She loved the piano mat and the swing, but it really felt like all she did was eat and sleep when little. At 3 or 4 months we switched to MOC (Mom's on call) and it's very similar to the EASY but I like how it tells me when to feed solids in addition to the formula. I will say I loved all my "free" time when I went from doing a combo of FF and pumped milk to just EFF.
As for us, A is 6 months tomorrow! We're also dealing with her first fever tonight, and I'm hoping she sleeps well!

He's here! 12:24am on 9/23/17 7.02lb & 21" long.
20 hours of labor and I never got past 6cm dialated so csection was the best option. They had me on the highest dosage of pitocin allowed and i just wouldn't budge.
I'm on my phone and don't know how to add pics so I will do so when I can get back on a laptop. Thank you all for the well wishes, it was a long day!
cherryvalance, J is beginning to like his piano play mat as well. I just feel like I'm doing nothing with him and sometimes he's awake for a long time. I'm trying though! thoseareradishes, That's my problem, he's 4 weeks old but during the day he'll be up anywhere between 1 hour and 2 hours. Last night he was up 3 hours before we finally got him to bed. I don't know what to do when he is like that. It's a struggle to get him to go down. At night he's pretty good at going back down after an hour or at the most an hour and a half. spearmintleaf, I wish J would just chill. He likes to be walked around and sung too sometimes. He doesn't really like to just sit after he eats though. He does like getting in the MOby wrap with me. Great news pandora89, grover, janegold, I guess my issue is he eats, he's full, but if he isn't doing something he cries and screams. I can walk him around and sing to him or sometimes get him to the piano kick n play but that's about it since he's only 4 weeks old. I'm sorry kellikans, I hope it's no big deal and it all works out for you COngratulations mrsgoontz, I can't wait to see pictures!
