Weekend Randoms

We are finally moving into our new house! Workmen are finishing the floors and all our stuff was delivered yesterday. We’ve actually been here since last Sunday on air mattresses and sleeping bags, but we have beds now! Yay! It’s been a long interesting move— I’ll try and type out the story when I have a chance.

We're in the mountains for the weekend. H is being so good! He shared a room with A and slept from 8-7 and hasn't had a single tantrum. He's like a new kid from the last time we took him on a trip! The only downfall is it's cold and cloudy and rain is supposed to start any moment now. We're going to use the indoor pool later I guess.

Went to a consignment sale yesterday and was disappointed in the selection there and left with nothing . Went to another today and scored! I was super excited about a Burton jacket for W for $6, costumes for both of them for $2.50 each and shoes for R and her tiny little feet for $2

Daniel's school has apple fest next week, lots of games and food and a silent auction. His class is building a football themed basket for the silent auction and while this won't fit in the basket I made a welcome sign this weekend for it. It's my first time attempting signs, I have a few spots that bled a little bit overall I'm quite pleased with it. I have the other side stained "worn navy" and plan to do a winter/Christmas theme welcome sign on the back (make the O a snowman head).

My cat is driving me insane. She's been meowing at odd times of the night for the past few months, but normally settles down. She's old, and senile and forgets where she is and can't find us, lol. The past few days she meows from 2-6 in the morning (somehow only waking me), and then promptly passes out and sleeps all morning. Now that my kids are finally sleeping somewhat normal hours, the cat has to act up?
