1. It went well. I used a couple of those list to help out with the hotel room workouts. I didn't have a lot of space. Not even enough to do a push up. Very annoying, but no excused I did my workout anyway.
2. 4-5 runs. one being sprints, one long, and one tempo. other two will be whatever I feel like that day. Today was my tempo. 2-3 strength workouts.
3. ugh well I just had chicken tenders for lunch so rein it in now before the week gets going?
4. YES! I ran a nine minute mile last week. I was so excited. It is a fair cry from my 6 min miles I used to run, but so much better than the 11 min miles I have been stuck at.
Bonus: My Dad got me into running. He runs everyday and can average 6:15 min miles for 10 miles without training. He took a friends position in a 10 mile race recently and that is what he did. It is the easiest thing and most effective workout I can do. I want to start swimming, but it'll have to wait until after I am out of the guard.
1. How did last week go? I had one workout last week when I realized that it was Friday and I wasn't going to be able to workout during the weekend. So I got creative and ran bases at DD's softball practice so they could practice making plays. It was 90 degrees out too! According to my FitBit, I got about 40 minutes of exercise. I was definitely sweating during my runs!
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? I'm aiming for 2 workouts this week. If I'm lucky, I'll squeeze in a third one on Sunday.
3. What are your food goals for the week? Focus more on eating meals at home. DH and I have been lazy this past week about making dinner. We need to get back to nice dinners during the week.
4. Any non-scale victories? I can't think of any.
Bonus: Last week was do you incorporate your kids in your fitness, this week: Who/what got you started into working out/healthy living? My brother was really heavy about 7 years ago. He wanted to slim down since he was starting to have health problems and he is a police officer. He ended up losing 110 lbs in one year. After seeing his success, I decided to get rid of the baby fat from when I had DD. I ended up losing 50 lbs in 9 months. I found that exercise not only helps my body with extra energy and strength, but it also helps my mental state. My gym time is sacred now and I make sure I get there twice a week.

1. For the first time in a while, I'm happy with last week. I got in 3 weekday workouts and one weekend workout. And my food wasn't too far out of bounds. I'm still struggling with portion control... and fueling a workout/breastfeeding vs stuffing my face with everything within arms reach,
2. I'm aiming for 3 weekday and one weekend workout. Today, I'm working from home and took a two and ahalf mile sweaty, hilly walk at lunch. That made me feel good.
3. I need to focus on portion control and curbing my empty carb intake by like 50%. Also, I've gotten away from water. There's so much damn soda in our house leftover from parties. But I won't dump it. Like, WHY? It was 88 cents and it's poison. Get rid of the 2 litres, Judy!
NSV - none come to mind for the past week
Bonus - I was always playing sports (albeit poorly) growing up. In college, I went to the gym whenever I got new yoga pants. After I got engaged, a dear friend bugged me to split a personal trainer with her. It was one of those things where she knew I wanted to get back into shape, and she said she'd do it with me, but acted like it was for her (who already had a 6 pack, so....). She's the best.
Really great! I did 4 of my beginners at home work out and Friday I walked instead of the workout. FYI DD was my motivation and had a blast kicking my butt on all these workouts but also motivating with her "you can do it mommy" as I'm breathing hard and she is counting away like 60 sec wall sits are no big deal
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type?
All 5 days of my at home work out which will be a challenge as I'm at tax school the last 2 days of the week. The weather is supposed to be nice this week so am hoping to walk during our lunch/breaks at school to get out of the smokey casino air.
3. What are your food goals for the week?
Control how much crap I eat Thursday-Saturday at school. They always have amazing buffets plus candy in with our books.
4. Any non-scale victories?
I bought 2 new pairs of dress pants in size 4! I offered my sister my size 6 pants as they are way too long on me and my super skinny sister couldn't get the pants up or button. She loves to brag about XS underwear and wearing a size small and remembering to buy me the next size up. So I got a big warm and happy feeling yesterday.
Bonus: Last week was do you incorporate your kids in your fitness, this week: Who/what got you started into working out/healthy living?
You guys have been my biggest motivators. I've never been one to have to work out and now that I need to you guys have motivated a ton, THANKS

1. How did last week go?
Great until Saturday night when H suggested Olive Garden. I fell off my plan in so many ways. It was also the night before a relay, which was hot. I ran slow and I know it was all the junk and wine.
2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type?
Same, 2 lift days and 3 run days. This week my mid-week runs get brutal. A 5 miler and 3 miler and I have to get up at 4 to do them on the treadmill. I dread Wednesdays so bad.
3. What are your food goals for the week?
I'm on "Cut 1" of the RP plan.
4) Any non-scale victories?
. I'm slimming down overall. Bonus: Last week was do you incorporate your kids in your fitness, this week: Who/what got you started into working out/healthy living? We lived with my parents for a year with our 2 kids and a dog while we built our house. It was really, really hard. We basically had no dressers or closet space. We joined a gym to get out and it was such a great thing for us.

1. How did last week go? Last week went pretty well. I got in all my work outs and made decent food choices over the weekend. 2. What are your work out goals for the week? Number? Type? 3 runs and 3 strength training/HIT workouts 3. What are your food goals for the week? We are going to my parent’s house this weekend. My mom is an amazing hostess with a fully stocked pantry and fridge plus she does happy hour with appetizers every day. I always end up overeating and then feeling bad about it later. My goal is to make good food choices and practice portion control. 4. Any non-scale victories? No Bonus: Last week was do you incorporate your kids in your fitness, this week: Who/what got you started into working out/healthy living? I was in graduate school and just sick of missing out on life because I was so self-conscious about my weight. I joined weight watchers and a gym and lost 65 lbs. Now I (mostly) look forward to running/working out because it is my me time with no kid interruptions.
