I just paid our last private therapy bill. It's going to be so nice to have that $700/month in our pockets.

B had another bad day yesterday, so I hope today is better. Teacher broke her arm, so I haven't been able to meet with her yet.

At jury duty. yay lol

A is getting ready with my husband and saying she feels awful but we don't know if she's faking to try to stay with him or if she's actually sick?! Why must my kid pretend sick all the time ugh.

I started doing kayla itsines bbg workouts this week. They haven't seemed super-hard while I'm doing them, but oi I'm sore.

Loco Coco - I hope V feels better soon! I understand wanting to avoid a visit if possible. G and I picked up the flu at the pedi during an ear infection checkup when he was little and we were both out for a week.

@lindy - I hope she's feeling better at school and isn't truly sick. Didn't this happen to you guys a few weeks ago too?

I am off for the rest of the week! I could get used to being a lady of leisure. Lol. I've already taken G to breakfast and school, grocery shopped, taken my car in again (sob), and am now reading and catching up on laundry.

It did! She pretended sick the first 2 weeks of school and she actually ended up sick one day. She stopped pretending after that, but I think my husband being there this morning threw her off. He sent her and said she was fine once they got there so hopefully she just wanted to stay home with him

That's the worst, the are they or aren't they. I usually send Grace unless she's puking, has diarrhea or a fever. Other than that I figure they'll call me. Plus we only get so many sick days before we need doctors notes so I try to make sure she's really sick. Ugh.

He sent her and said she was fine once they got there. So hopefully just faking or being a wimp lol

ktstorm - do you just the workouts at home? I'll have to look into it. My cousin drug me to a boot camp on Saturday, and I'm still sore. I also ran 9 miles the day after as I'm training for a half, so that didn't help, but at least I can move now . I'm going back to boot camp on sat again as it's a nice change of pace.

blane12 yes I do them at home on M/W/F and go to the gym on Tues/Th/Sat for cardio. They're super quick so I can drop B off at the bus at 7:30, and then do the workout and take a quick shower before my H leaves for work at 8:30. I have a copy of the PDF that someone sent me if you want I can PM it to you.

I did see there's a free app too, but I haven't looked at it.

I got dismissed! I was the second to last person to get kicked off the jury. They got me all invested in the case and now I won't know what happened.

Well I think A has strep. This is why I shouldn't go to jury duty! She didn't have a fever this morning but it's now 101/102 and her throat looks funny and she won't eat anything. She said she "forgot" to tell anyone at school that she didn't feel good.

Were at urgent care now! They got us in quick, just waiting to hear on the rapid test. She hasn't peed her pants all week!! And she's been getting awesome behavior reports the last week too so I think she's doing a lot better.

It's strep. I guess as least antibiotics usually make her feel better pretty quickly.

I think I have strep too and am freekijg out I will give it to the kids and we will have to cancel Disney

I also somehow lost 3/6 currently fitting bras and I'm possed

I am also jealous of all the pregnancy announcements lately and all my friends buying new amazing homes I could le never afford bc I have a dozen kids

He had a good day! One more sticker (one more good day) and he gets to go to Walmart to get a little toy. He's excited so I hope it's tomorrow.

@lindy - I'm sorry it's strep! But at least she's got meds now. I'm glad she's doing great in K, and that the peeing seems to have stopped!

I was worried I had strep too.. my H had it a week or two ago. Yesterday I woke up with a terrible sore throat and was feeling off all day. Then I went running at 6 and was thinking "man it's hard to run right now ... just feel so low energy ..." then I felt worse after so I took my temp and it was 99.8. I went to bed and slept 10 hours.

Today my throat still hurts but temp was normal and I feel ok so I'm at work.

I figure I couldn't possibly have strep as I just finished back to back courses of antibiotics for an infection in my nipple, (the first round didn't work), and I finished the second round 2 days ago. Also when my H had strep he had a fever for two days and was unable to function. So surely Strep couldn't grow in a body so full of antibiotics ?!
