Any fun plans this weekend? Autumn activities with the little ones?

I was suppose to go to work with H later but the show is apparently canceled. I’m kinda sad about it. I was going to take pictures to learn how to use the new camera. It’s the core group of original people so I thought it would be a nice group shot for the boss. Plus it has a fireworks setting, something none of my cameras ever had, and I wanted so try and get some good shots of that for our hallway wall. Oh well. Instead I’m going through my shoes to pick some for vacation in November. I pick my outfits according to my shoe choices lol.

H got fitted for a tux for his brothers wedding this morning, and we're looking online for a new dryer. We hope to go purchase tomorrow if possible, then try to figure out when they can deliver/install since I can't miss any more work this month (I have 5 days of PD in October)

This morning we took C to music class then went to Fall Fest at a local farm this afternoon. It was a pretty great family day 🙂

Tomorrow C is going to my parents after lunch and H and I are doing yard work and hopefully putting Halloween decorations out.

Busy but fun weekend here!

L's birthday party is tomorrow! Today has been a mix of getting things done (Costco, organizing party supplies, etc) and other things (I took C to the park while L napped, we went on a family walk, my step mom came by to drop off L's onesie and visit with us).

Tomorrow is all about the party til afternoon naps! ILs are staying with us til the boys go to bed...we still need to figure out what we are going to do with them. DH wants to go out and do something but can't decide and I have a feeling we will all be exhausted by then. Either way, we need to figure out dinner!

Other than that, we got a 4 pk of pumpkin beer and some Oktoberfest beer at Costco! Enjoying one of each before we go to bed!

We took E to the children's museum today, my sister got us in free. E loved it!

We just got back to my parents from seeing Chris Hardwick. Omg. We knew we had "priority" seating because we also did the dinner option but I wasn't expecting front row! We were like 2 feet from him! It was a good show, he was awesome and so were the 2 other performers! It was so nice to have a night out, just wish I could have had a glass of wine!

H is out of town this weekend, so it's just me and the little guy. We had a lazy morning, then went out for lunch, did a Target run, watched a movie, and went to a birthday party. Tomorrow we need to clean, and I'd also like to go to a new park or something fun.

I am extremely behind on studying for a certification exam, so I also need to do that tomorrow. Ugh.

I'm sick. Ugh. It hit me last night. So thankful DH was home today. He has been a tremendous help taking care of the girls so I can rest. I was finally able to eat 1/2 a piece of toast and drink some more water.

I had a four hour tattoo session on Friday, H got a black bear yesterday, and we have bear stew cooking in the crockpot right now. All in all, not a bad weekend.

Warning, a bit of a brain dump ahead:

I'm thinking our weekend visits to my parents house are going to start being further and further apart. I'm so frustrated. Everything has to be on their schedule and everyone is focused on themselves. We mentioned driving separate because I didn't want to climb into the back of their van and God forbid my sister climbs back there for once in her life. I'm not one to want to be babied, but come on. I'm pregnant and in pain, could you maybe be nice just once? My mom offered to climb way back (who has a lot of back issues) and THEN my sister finally offered. This was after my mom randomly throwing plans at us last minute, my sister taking forever to get there, my mom not getting E up until I got him up at 9:30, then not making breakfast until like 10:30 (by this point E was having screaming tantrums because he was starving), etc. We ended up driving ourselves because I just couldn't take it anymore!

Anyways, we were driving to see my grandpa, who is still in a rehab facility, then to his house to see my grandma and look at things at their house which they're selling. It's so hard seeing my grandpa's health going downhill and see their house for probably the last time. They're moving into an apartment at the same place my grandpa is staying right now. It's just been kind of a rough day and I can't wait to get home.
