Week of October 2nd

So frustrating and unacceptable katespade. I would totally call and be a bitch to them...someone needs to light some fire under their butts. Hope it's fixed soon. ((Hugs))

((Hugs)) wineandcheese. Maybe someone can lend you some money or be kind and buy you lunch? I hope you don't have to go all day without a decent meal. Your job is really demanding and you need your food to do it well!

Rough day here. L is a clingy mess and C is acting up a lot lately. Not sure what his deal is but lots of hitting, biting, pinching, and his latest is 2 potty accidents in less than 24 hours when in timeouts. Just when I was convinced he was potty trained and we were doing so good with no accidents for 3+ weeks. Maybe it's from all the attention for L with his birthday last week.

I was going to take them to story time before naps today but I think I will just take them for a walk...probably will do us all good to be outside for a bit!

Okay, so I'm all sorts of worked up about this, and H seems to think it's not a big deal.

They finally took a look, found the issue, and fixed it. All without reaching out to us. And then AFTER they fixed it, they were like, "Whoops, this definitely isn't covered by your warranty, but we already did the work so you owe us some money."

THE FUCK YOU SAY??

H thinks it isn't a big deal because it was going to need to be fixed either way, and I think it's a big deal because the only reason we took the car to them is because we have a warranty. But if they had called, I would have had it towed to a different shop to have the work done. I don't want to give them more of my money, I just want them to fix things when they're covered by the warranty I'm already paying them for.

ALSO, we've had the car for three years and two weeks. The part that stopped working had a three year warranty. So, two weeks ago it would have been covered.

H doesn't understand why I'm so worked up about it.

I think I should probably have him handle everything when we go pick it up. lol.

bk1 - That's what I said! But H thinks I'm overreacting and it's not worth saying anything to them.

katespade- this isn't something that would go over well in our household, especially DH because he would want to do the work himself vs paying a mechanic 4x the amount to have it done (if it were covered by warranty then he would have them do it). Even if he didn't want to do the work himself he would want to price it out and try to get it done cheaper. This should be on them. Sorry you are dealing with all of this 🙁

We are doing our trial run today at daycare. When I say trial run, I mean that I got up at my normal time and took them at their normal time to make sure we have our routine down pat with both kids. It went well. I hope Monday goes as well. I did this trial run with L and I'm thankful I did it again. It helps to know how things will go, drop off diapers and such. My boss wants to meet FIRST thing on Monday so I'm glad to have everything taken care of today to help me get there on time on Monday. FX. Little man was so sweet and snuggly this morning. L was also cute and funny. I'm so sad my maternity leave is coming to an end. My heart has been really feeling it the last few days. I know this is what needs to happen for them to be fully provided for....and that helps.

So, since I'm up super early. I am spoiling myself today to help with all the feels. I'm at Starbucks now with a breakfast sandwich and venti chai tea latte. I've got a magazine to read. I'll pick up my alterations after the shop opens and go by Marty and Liz for a while. I've got a massage scheduled. After that, I'll go home and relax for a bit before picking the kids up early.

C didn't get up to nurse until 5:30 then went back to sleep so I got to enjoy my coffee alone while watching project runway this morning. It was a nice way to start the day .

katespade I wonder if you could get a quote from your normal mechanic for the work the dealer did and tell the dealership you won't pay a penny more than that? So frustrating.

I saw Hamilton last night and it was AMAZING!!!
