Week of October 2nd

How the heck is it October already? Plans? Vents? Randoms? AWs? Anything?

I already went to Sam’s Club this morning to buy water and a few items. I bought a rotisserie chicken while I was there for dinner. I still need to do a big trip Friday. I forgot how good their blueberry muffins were. I’m eating one for brunch. I need to drop a few of those off to my mom since I know I’m not going to eat all 6 super sized muffins. The rest of the day is pretty lazy. Housework and going through my makeup today. Probably clean my makeup brushes too since they are piling up.

I’m back to my normal schedule this week! Woohoo! Working Tuesday thru Thursday.

Friday is errands day. I want to ask my mom to go to get her out of the house but doubt she’ll want to be out the door by 7am.

Saturday H is off so hopefully we will use a groupon for a winery we have since it expires the end of the month. We also plan on going to the local winery for their 10th anniversary.

Sunday H is working. Depending on what show he is doing I may go with him.

I'm mostly better but now C is sick. Lots of laundry and cuddling today.

MIL was planning on taking G overnight tomorrow. Hoping she still will. G was sick last week so hoping she doesn't get it again.

Me and the girls are going to a wedding on Saturday. I'm a little anxious since DH will be working and it will just be me managing both girls, but looking forward to it.

Sunday we are planning a family day. Out to breakfast, park time, and whatever else we come up with. It's what we had planned yesterday but that got foiled.

No plans really this week! I have a 3 day weekend coming up so that'll be nice.

Apparently a friend (not a close friend) from HS/college is staying at Mandalay Bay right now on her honeymoon. She's ok. But how scary and what a horrible memory to have from your honeymoon. I'm happy she's ok but can't even imagine what everyone affected is going through

ETA apparently friend is not on her honeymoon but is there. She got married last weekend I think so I assumed that's why she was there.

bk1- glad you are feeling better but sorry to hear about C 🙁 Hope she bounces back quick and hope your MIL still takes G.

Today- took the boys for a walk, cooked dinner, laundry, house back to normal. Have to wake them soon for L's doctors appointment. Both boys are getting shots (flu for C only)

Rest of the week...need to go to Walmart, Costco, grocery shopping, party city to return stuff, and normal chores. A couple friends want to do some play dates so we need to schedule those. Maybe library for story time on Thursday. Lots of walks and time at the park since it's nice weather this week.

I'm getting my hair done Friday. Nothing exciting, just root touch ups and a trim. I need the baby to stay put until I can get to the salon one last time, lol.

It's supposed to be pretty nice this week, so we might try to go to the park a couple of days.

I'm so tired. C apparently has a cold- she woke up crying 4 times before midnight last night so I ended up bringing her t bed with me, where she proceeded to kick me all night long lol.

Thursday is my birthday- I'm working til noon and my H took the day off. After I finish working we're going to lunch and play mini golf.

Saturday we have music class then a Halloween craft event at the local craft store. Otherwise not much else going on.

My ears are crap again, today is day 4. I have an appointment with my allergist in 45 minutes and my ENT tomorrow. Hoping someone will give me steroids.

E fell off our bed last night. I was home but on call, and DH likes to bring E to our room when I'm not there. I heard a HUGE wail, and then I heard DH taking care of him. I didn't want to interfere myself for fear of waking up E even more.

We survived the doctors appointment yesterday. It was not the best appointment by far. Started with me ripping L's tongue tie when getting his romper off (the hoodie was stuck inside, hurrying to take it off for the nurse to do her measurements, etc). He cried and bled a lot. They also had to start a chart for C since he was a new patient and they couldn't just give him a flu shot. Trying to do all that with two fussy kids was fun. Then shots for L were HORRIBLE...he cried so much. Thankfully C was a champ and his shot didn't phase him. Oh, and L is anemic so we need to start the poly vi sol vitamins and see if that helps. Both boys slept great though so thankful for that!

They are loving all of L's new toys and it's really helping them play together! Fun to watch and it's giving me a little more freedom to not be so hands on all day!

I think I will walk/run them to party city and stop by Trader Joe's for some pumpkin bread! It's going to be fall weather today but supposed to be high 80s by the end of the week. Baking sounds like a good idea this afternoon!

tacocat I did that with DS and it was so nice not having to look at major roots after being up all night with the baby!!! I didn't expect to go so early with DD and was super rooty which made me super depressed on top of being sleep deprived with a newborn! LOL

Hey all! Life is so busy I am indirectly GBCNing just because I can barely find time to read things, and posting without reading is pretty insensitive. If I have questions or whatever I'll post on FB because I get notifications more easily there.

That said, I do really want to still do the secret santa sock exchange this year. Are people still interested in that? Does katespade want to organize it this year, or should I just set it up now since everyone's info is already saved in Elfster? I'm fine either way

My week is pretty boring, because my (THREE YEAR OLD) car decided to stop working on Saturday. We had it towed to the dealership because it's still under warranty, and it's still sitting there waiting to be diagnosed. I'm so pissed. And since H is working all week, I'm stuck at home with no transportation and no ETA on when I'll have a car again.

Other than that:
I have a therapy appointment on Friday.
I'm helping organize a fundraiser on Saturday.
I have my monthly massage on Sunday.

bk1 - Seriously! It's practically brand new! H thinks it might be a computer issue, and I'm just crossing my fingers that they don't try to find a way to say the repairs aren't covered by our warranty.

My car is still sitting at the dealership. It's been there for four days and they haven't even looked at it yet. I'm so angry right now, I'm making H call to ask for an update because I know that if I get on the phone with them I'm going to rage out. FIX MY FUCKING THREE YEAR OLD CAR THAT SHOULDN'T BE BROKEN, YOU ASSHOLES.
