Prepare for my broken record: Larry's possible suitor made an offer. It's lower than I'll take, but I'm pretty sure they're expecting me to counter halfway between my asking and their figure, which is an amount I'd agree to. And they don't want to have a vet exam before they buy him - they just want to roll in next week with a trailer and pick him up. Since nearly everyone does a repurchase exam and then asks for additional discounts if the vet finds anything concerning, they're a really strong offer. OMG to Larry moving to NH But he'd be for a 10 year old girl who wants to start showing, and that is exactly what I was hoping for when I listed him.
I'm surrounded by all the bridles I just ordered as potential replacements for Mr Larry the bridle destroyer. I guess I can stop worrying about which is the best made and just keep the cheapest one, now.
chalupa , awww, hugs. Although, a 10 year old girl sounds perfect for him. Did you meet her?
I didn't. It's pretty common not to take a kid horse shopping, because it's really hard for the parents to tell them "just kidding" if they don't buy the pretty pony the kid already fell in love with.
The girl's trainer went to college here, and had one of her local horsey friends (who is also a pro) come out last weekend to ride him on their behalf. So they're buying him completely based on photos and videos and the advice of someone they trust. SaveSave

I'm still getting over my cold. Got to work and all of a sudden my stomach is feeling a little funky. There is a stomach thing going around and I am not going to be happy if I pick that up on the tail end of my other sickness.
chalupa that sounds so hard! Big hugs. Ever since this break up I've slept better and harder than I ever have in my life. I wake up and actually feel awake. I'm not sure if it's totally related because we really only started talking again last November but it's a benefit! I'm going to really get back into working out and I'm exited about it. I don't feel like really socializing right now so this is perfect. I also found an awesome app that walks you through the break up. It's sort of like having a coach (but it's all automated) but I really like it a lot. I am starting to feel like this isn't the end of the world and it could be possible to find someone else one day. I promise I'll soon stop talking about just my break up!
bullygirl979 I am holding on to my own stomach, which felt a little queasy after my first few sips of coffee. I'm feeling OK after having a bite to eat, but that's a very disconcerting feeling. Fingers crossed you are germ-free!

udscoobychick, I love you. You have e. coli and have been sick but you're hitting up the Filipino food truck today. You are far braver than I. I'd be hitting up the saltines and ginger ale, haha.
I hope everyone who isn't feeling well starts to feel better!
Yesterday was a ridiculous and kind of shity day for me. I slept through every single one of my alarms if they even went off, which I'm not sure they did. Of course, that means that I was late to work and the entire day I was stressed out because of that on top of the stress that I already have with work. Luckily, we had a wellness fair yesterday and I got a chair massage. Well, technically it was a chair massage but the woman had me lay down and she walked on my back with her knees which felt both awful and amazing. My back popped in multiple places.
All day yesterday I was super exhausted. I came home and ended up taking a three-plus hour nap. I Woke up, had dinner, and packed for today then went right back to bed. I'm feeling better today, thankfully! I think all of the stress of work has just worn me completely out and I needed a day of sleeping to recover.
Today is going to be a long day. I have work all day and then go right to the physical therapy and from there go right to two dance classes in a row to see how I do with them. I'm really excited to be finally going back to dance!

Pshh...I've had 2 doses of antibiotics so far. And Immodium was helpful yesterday. So I'm optimistic.
DD has been dealing with a stomach bug since last week. She's missed two and a half days of school, and the school keeps calling me. My phone rang again and I could see it was the school calling. Thankfully it was only to say that she spilled applesauce on her pants at lunch and needed clean pants. Whew!!! This really has been one persistent, crappy bug for her.
@pdx18, I'm sorry to hear about your breakup! I was so excited for you when I read that you were in a relationship, but I think you really are handling this well. Feel free to vent as needed
turtle1120 thanks! It's been really really hard I'm not gonna lie. But each day is getting better so you just have to keep moving on! I actually feel a lot less hopeless this time around.

GUISE! How cool is this? One of P's best friends is a big wig at a Fortune 500 company that deals with wine/spirits (I'm sure you can figure it out, lol). Anyway, I texted him to ask what his must-do list included for wineries and restaurants. He just emailed me his list with a surprise! He set us up on a private tour at Mondavi Winery. He is so sweet! He asked that I keep it a surprise for P.
