Weekend Randoms

We were supposed to be heading to the Florida gulf coast right now, because Andrew has fall break and my friend has a beach house there. But, tropical storm Nate has other plans. Now we're hoping to drive down on Monday, if everything is okay. Now I have to figure out what to do all weekend when it'll be raining here and DH will be OOT.

We have a date tonight! Then going to the zoo tomorrow.

I’m thinking about getting H a hearing eval. Everyone in EI keeps asking if we’ve had it done, and we haven’t. They’re like we think he can hear, but I’d feel awful if we figured out years later he has some kind of hearing issue. He did have a ton of ear infections his first year.

B had today off from school today too. We spent last night and all day today at Great Wolf Lodge. Tomorrow B and I are running in a 5K with my sister.

DD cheered at DH's school's football game tonight (she went to their cheer clinic this summer.) All the kids are sleeping now. When I went to pour a glass of wine, I realized I left it in the shop fridge and I didn't feel like going get it, so now I'm drinking a beer.

We have soccer games tomorrow morning and a first birthday party tomorrow afternoon. DD is over soccer already, but DS1 is loving it, and is a bit of a ball hog. He's only 3, so the whole don't take the ball from your teammate doesn't always compute.

H and I are going to the Harry Potter symphony tomorrow night! The kids are having their first non family babysitter, I haven’t even met her (comes highly recommended from people I trust) but I’m actually feeling pretty breezy about it.

It’s been hot here this week and will be for the foreseeable future but tomorrow evening doesn’t look too bad which is nice since it’s at an open air (but covered) venue.

tennisgal - We wake up so early during the week, I still wake up before G half the time and he rarely sleeps past 6-6:30. I'm doing weekends wrong!

We're off to soccer in a bit and then maybe a fall festival afterwards. My house is a disaster and I wish it would somehow take care of itself.

We went to NASA yesterday— kids had a great time. A now wants to be a NASA engineer and go to Mars (well, he’s wanted to visit Mars for a while, but now he sees a way forward 😁)

Today is more unpacking and a cookout with DHs work colleagues. I’m so tired of boxes of stuff...
