@Halloween Costumes

What are your kids wearing? Are you dressing up too? 


While we're at it.. any fun Halloween plans or events you are going to?

We haven't bought it yet but E wants to be Marshall from Paw Patrol. I just want a shirt with a pumpkin or something on it. I'm lame, lol.

I'm not sure what we're doing yet. Either go to a few houses in the neighborhood again or they're having an event in town that looks fun too!

Jack wanted to be Woody, then changed his mind to Buzz Lightyear and then Olaf. I bought both Buzz and Olaf. Turns out he hates costumes. I am now buying a Woody tshirt that he'll wear with jeans (we'll be at Disney World on Halloween). I am going to be a Toy Story alien.

Side note, does anyone think Target will put costumes on sale/Cartwheel again? I'm planning on going there tomorrow and figured I'd grab his costume while I'm there.

L is a princess and H is a frog Fortunately, they're both still young enough to let me pick these out for them!

H wants to dress up....but I just don't have the time or money to do costumes for us.

R is going to be an Oompa Loompa. I figure this could be my last year to dress him how I want, so I'm going ridiculous. I figure it'll be ALL "Buzz!" or superheroes from here on out!

Not sure about Target but I saw on some coupon sites that Amazon has lots of costumes 50% off today. If you have prime, maybe check there.

Good idea! They only had one while I was there and the button wasn't working on the collar thing and I didn't see an easy way to open it to replace a battery, so I didn't end up getting it!

C is either going to be a ghost or a kitty. Or a kitty ghost lol.

I'm going to make a no sew white fleece poncho with a ghost face. I also have a cat tail and ears and a black hoodie that says meow on it, so we'll be covered either way. What she wants to be changes daily lol.

I have no idea. He's young enough that he won't know the difference what we put on him, so I'm probably not going to go all out. He won't wear anything on his head or face so that eliminates a bunch of costumes.

He has mummy pajamas, we keep saying we're just going to put him in that...

Boo, they didn't have the costume in the right size on Amazon and it's more expensive. I think we might just order it from Target. Now where to get a maternity Halloween shirt for myself.. I didn't really like the ones on Amazon

B is going to be Skye from Paw Patrol and she requested that her little brother match her. He is going to be Marshall from Paw Patrol, though I just got a dalmation costume from Carters to wear with his Marshall pjs.

I have 3 sets of costumes for the girls. Oops. It just kinda happened... 

I found I never really cared about Halloween until last year. We had SO MUCH FUN taking G out. I swear I have never seen DH so happy about a family activity. I'm pumped for this year.


set 1: G - cowgirl - using a leather vest DH wore as a kid! 
          C - girl cow - using cow pjs 


set 2: Superheros- G is super G! and C is batgirl. These were bought back ups before I decided what I wanted. G's is a costume and C's is a dress from Walmart


set 3: G - wicked witch (because she's a toddler )
         C - flying monkey   

Just came up with those a few days ago. Using sparkly black top and leggings we already had for G. Just bought a hat and broom.got Bought a monkey costume on amazon for C and I'm going to make a vest and hat to go with it. Bought some wings yesterday and if I don't like how they go together I'll make some. 


I won Halloween leggings from the TTH auction so I'll wear those. I know I have a black tunic somewhere.. I just have to find it. It's time to unpack all my fall/winter clothes since the temp dropped overnight.

I work Halloween and my partner wants to hand out candy here so I bought a unicorn headband, face glitter, glittery lipstick and blue false lashes to put on later in the shift. My boss ok’ed it as long as I don’t go too crazy with the glitter and take the headband off for calls lol.

A is going to be a unicorn! We have a family halloween party with the mom's group I'm in the Sunday before, so she's dressing up for that. H won't dress up this year but swears he'll get into a family costume when A is older. I'll wear my Caspar shirt.

We got a Batman costume for R. It's a one piece zip up with a cape. I don't think he even knows the cape is there and the rest of the costume is just like wearing regular clothes, so hopefully he will keep it on. Woohoo!

E tried his costume on today and he loves it! If I remember I'll have to put some spots on his face too
