After being sick and stuck at our house so much last week I realized how vital it is for us to get out of the house often when DH is working so many hours.
M - shopping with my mom/ taking lunch to my grandma's T - Children's Museum with MIL
Th - Storytime at the library
S - brother will be in town so spending time with him
My mom and I shop with coupons regularly. So today we have two $10 off $10 purchase JcP coupons and freebie B&BW coupons to use today. W or F we will meet up to use an Old Navy coupon she has and a promotional $10 gift card I have to Kmart. We do lots of trips but we score deals constantly and this is how I buy all the clothes for my girls.
Mon - Bang trim. Wed - Doctor's appointment. Thu - H's birthday. Fri - Tattoo session. Sat/Sun - Doing something to celebrate H's birthday, since he works on Thursday. Not sure what yet.
I'm doing my 3 hour glucose test right now. Super exciting. I can't wait to eat when I get out of here!
We have a wedding this weekend about 2 hours away. It's in a city we like to visit but don't get to often so we might do a little wandering earlier in the day or on Sunday!

I feel like I haven't been around lately!
My main focus this week is on getting back to healthy eating and the gym. I'm putting on weight and just feeling blahhh. katespade - I'm gonna be looking at you in the other post for accountability. Hound me, girrrrl. You know I have no reason not to workout and I've been dropping the ball!
M- I need to drop off a bunch of packages at the post office. Also, I'm picking up my new iPad!
T - Personal training session
Wed - I'm going to try and schedule a cut and color if I can find somewhere not insanely expensive. I usually color my hair myself.
This weekend- Picking up decor for R's 2nd bday party!
We were supposed to do library story time today but L woke up at 5:15 for the day and is cranky. We will go for a walk to Starbucks instead. Did bagels this morning.
Church mentor from old city is coming Weds.
Might take the boys to Disney thurs or Friday.
Need to get caught up on house stuff, finish sewing pajama pants for the boys, work for my dads business, and lots of walks.
I've been MIA since Thursday. We went to visit my family for the weekend. E and I just got home about an hour ago. DH is traveling for work.
We drove through our old city and stopped at the hospital where I used to work to say hi. It was so good to see many of my old coworkers! I miss them all so much.
We hung out with my mom for a couple days. Saw my sister and her kids. Tailgated for a football game. Saturday night and Sunday was mostly spent with my dad, and we saw both of my grandmothers. One is hail and hearty (the one whose house flooded and had a stroke last winter), the other is not doing well (lost her husband/my grandfather in August, and broke her back a couple weeks ago). My dad, who had a stroke last month, is also only so-so... I can see the beginning signs of Parkinson's. *sigh*
E and I flew back home today and he did awesome on the plane. He had so much fun!
Overall, great weekend, although I'm worried about the one grandmother and my dad.
Thinking of your family, pooh8402! It's so hard to see family members in poor health.
I think this week is going to fly by. I only have two more days in the office, then a full-day offsite event, and then Friday off for a girls' weekend! I also need to write an article for an industry publication by next week.
I don't think J has ever been more hilarious than he's been this week, so I am having a really nice week with him.
*hugs* pooh8402. My grandpa has Parkinson's. It's been hard to watch his health decline over the years since he was diagnosed. He's been ok for the most part but he broke his hip then had to have his gallbladder out, so he's just not bouncing back from those things as easily as he used to.
AW - I'm of course going to wait for the official call from my doctor but I passed my 3 hour! The numbers weren't borderline either so I'm hoping they are good enough for my doctor! I'm so relieved!
I tossed and turned all night. And C was up 3 times. I'm just trying to get some coffee in me before G wakes up. Children's museum today.. hope that means we all get naps later!
I’m working today, Wednesday and Friday. I so don’t want to be here today.
Thursday I need to go to the DMV. Not looking forward to that.
DH is working all weekend. I’ll probably just stay home and try to clean out our spare room. FIL is coming up next month so just in case he needs to crash at our house he has somewhere to sleep.
krystee, bk1, Thanks for asking! It went well. They kept me busy for sure which kept my mind off of things. They were ready for me to be back. There were things on the backburner in a pile with my name on it! ha! But it did go well. I had some people stop by my office to tell me that I had been missed. I really appreciated it!
I can't remember if I mentioned this, but the music class at the library for R started up again a few weeks ago after being off for the summer and the lady who ran it is gone and I really don't like the replacement The other lady was younger and very energetic, we moved around, she engaged with the kids more, gave them toys to play with at the end. The new lady is older and basically just has them sit there and sing. Kids aren't going to sit that long, by half way through they are all moving all over. And I don't blame them because it's boring! I've just been letting R walk around, I know it's good for him to be out and with other kids and such but I kind of hate going now. I'm going to see finding a class at another location....I know what town the other lady went to, I might be a crazy person and try and track her down. She rocked.
That sucks about the music class HoneySpider! I couldn't still that long, I can't imagine how wiggly the toddlers would get.
I might get ice cream fo dinner tonight. DS is at the IL's and H has a civic club thing tonight. The only downside is I want Baskin Robbins which means leaving the house again.

Eek. I'm at the doctor's office and a girl is checking in. She said she just got married. I'm pretty sure she just said she was born in 1998. Omg. I feel so old right now lol.
estrellita - My nephew was born in 1998, and I'm in total denial about how old he is. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY he's a legal adult. I refuse to believe it!

katespade I have a cousin that was born in 1999 and my oldest cousin's oldest son was born in 2000. It's just not right that they're either out of HS or will be soon! I couldn't imagine either of them getting married anytime soon!
